| I am just hope they add some of the new Vita game tools that Tarsier/DoubleEleven thought up. Invisible material, weather effects, and decoration spinners to name a few. Well Steven said on the PS Blog that news is coming very soon and the pack wasn't delayed... I'm just taking a wild guess it will either be early or mid-December (which isn't far off). So they're probably just finishing it up. I'm curious, are the space levels demoed at gamecom part of the final pack or were they just to demonstrate the functionality? I guess time will tell. | I don't have the source for this info, but one of the developers was discussing the cross-control DLC. It sounds like a connection of the PS Vita and LBP2 not necessarily LBPVita and LBP2. He said there would be tools available for use on the Vita, that you would use to make the Vita portion of the game. From what he said it doesn't sound like you create using LBP Vita. It all still sounds awesome regardless, not sure if we'll be seeing Vita items, costumes, or logic coming to LBP2 in this DLC though. I'll look for the source and reply to this forum again, maybe someone else had seen the article I am referring to. | For me it was known from very begining. When cross-controller DLC as first annouced.... i was actully not suppriced they already demo it year before in TGS 2011: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=swLfqSDPav0 When you watch full conforence they actully say it creally it's "enthenge remote play" right after Killzone 3 remote play demo, as demo showing that you go beyond current remote play formula. | My question is if we dont have a ps vita and dont plan on getting one will we be able to get this dlc with out having to play with the stupid ps vita? First off, no. The PS3 controller doesn't exactly have a screen or touch built in. It's not a Wii U. Second, just because you don't have a vita doesn't make it a stupid system. You will probably be able to download it but not use it, like the move pack. It will probably say something like "Player one must have a Playstation Vita (TM) system to use this content." All you need to do is join a friend who do have the controller while they are playing the levels. and you can then play the levels. And it's just a guess but I bet the PSvita as a LBP2 controller pack is gonna be the same.
