Taking Photos!

Archive: 8 posts

I'm really excited for the new take-a-photo-in-the-game anywhere feature! You know what would be the best place for taking photos? The grocery store. They've got all kinds of stuff everywhere! Not only food, but they also usually have derpy looking things in the checkout isle, lobsters, randomly placed in the cereal isle or something.2012-06-02 16:29:00

I can't help but agree with that, but I'm kind of self-conscious, so once I get my Vita, I'll probably be expecting people to look at me funny ;P2012-06-02 16:34:00

I'd love to go around snapping photos of stuff, and then editing them in LBP. Keeping it all clean, of course.
Knowing what lemurboy does, I'm betting there's gonna be some crazy Dups stuff in the Vita version.

It's a great feature. I took a picture of my carpet to use in my Pod

I think it gives a great opportunity for a new tool though. There should be a material creator, where you choose what kind of material it is (stone, wood, etc.) what weight it is, and some other stuff - and then take a picture to use as it's texture, thereby creating your own materials.

i've always thought that would be a good idea but how well would it work with the UV tool and now the fact that you can size the textures too.

I am probably just going to use it at random times. Not like planned, but in the same context as the following trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wrBh1KOluY WARNING: Adobe or java needed to watch.2012-09-14 02:19:00
