Food. It is Awesome.

Archive: 22 posts

I like food. I think we all do.

First of all, what are your favourite foods? For me they would be Spagetti Bolognese, Lasagne, Fish and Chips, Pizza, Doritos, Pringles, Ramen, etc etc.

Also, what awesome foods have you invented at the buffet? For me, curry on fries, ketchup on jasmine rice, whatever!

My favourite snack is fresh human foetus, straight out of the dumpster behind the abortion clinic..

I also like grilled pak choi with lashings of creamy custard.

Ayneh sandwich:

Butter some lightly toasted bread. Use two slices of ham. Then add a layer of chunky shredded lettuce before cutting up a hard-boiled egg on top. Add some pepper and it's done.

All-u-can-eat buffets. They are fairly common around here. 2012-05-29 17:55:00

I've had lots of good food lately.

My favorite food is probably the pizza out in the East in New York.

It's kinda expensive to do that but yeah.

If you eat Shredded Wheat or Weetabix out the box you're mad tho.

Ayneh pancakes:

You will need: 2 medium eggs, 200g flour, 450ml milk and a little salt.

Break eggs into bowl and beat. Gradually add milk, flour and salt whilst mixing. Leave the mixture for about 30 minutes.

Add butter to pan and put on high heat, turn down a bit before putting mixture in. Add just enough pancake batter to coat the bottom of pan, even it out and go around the edge with spatula. Check the underside until brown then flip over and do the other side.

Enough for around 6-8 pancakes depending on the size of the pan. Depending on the pan you might not want to keep it on the heat between servings.

Having pancakes only on Shove Tuesday is a crime especially if you need to use up a load of milk before it goes.

Kernel Boiled egg

You will need 1 egg, 1 pan of water

Place pan of water on hob
Turn on hob
Wait until water is boiling
Place egg gently in water, being sure not to break it
If you want a runny yolk boil for about 4 minutes, serve with toast or something i unno.
For a hard boiled egg cook for 10 minutes or so, It's probably less than this but it's best to be safe.
Swear as egg is hot and leave for a few minutes to cool, or use a kitchen towel i don't care.
Eat egg, Shell and all.

For hard-boiled egg tip out hot water and pour in cold water.

I don't know if that's alright for runny egg because I find them kinda gross.

LBD's super rainbow munchie snack:

Prep:
- Acquire box of Lucky Charms.
- Empty contents across nearest carpet, really grind some in there.
- Pick up only the rainbow marshmallow bits. I swear if you pick up anything but that I will cut your pretty face.
- Stare at handful of marshmallows, these are truly the most premium of all rainbow marshmallow bits.
- Consume in a sugar hungry rage.

Clean up:
- Blame it on the cat.

If your egg is running from you, then you've done too little too late.

I did that once. I called my drink "Soda-Wisdom." I drank it, and almost puked.

Nothing makes my mouth water like the sight of a delicious francesinha (https://www.google.pt/search?hl=pt-PT&cp=8&gs_id=g3&xhr=t&q=francesinha&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&biw=1366&bih=596&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=tCDGT92tJsmb8QOEh7iJBg). A hot sandwich containing ham, salami, beef and sausages, covered with melted cheese and thick, spicy tomato and onion sauce. Served with fries and a fried egg on top.

Everytime I think about it, I just want to travel back to Portugal for one of those bad boys

Darn, there's drool on my keyboard.

P?o de queijo, or cheese muffin as you would probably call it:

Brigadeiro. I seriously thought this was international until a German student at my school tried it for the first time. It is really popular in birthday parties, sometimes even more than the cake:

We have it over here too, although it seems to be less popular than in Brasil. Chocolate cake filled with cocolate cream covered in chocolate sprinkles. It's a chocolate singularity!

Hey guys, another thing I suggest you try (if you don't have anything better to eat) is baked beans on Spam, with onions and cheese. It sounds gross, but it's all greasy and awesome. Don't put them in separate parts of a plate, mix 'em up really good in the fry pan.2012-05-31 09:40:00
