Hey everyone, the ball is about to get rolling on this.

CC is currently without internet (out of town) but will be available around Wednesday.

Keep your eyes open for things to come.

Our private Vita forums are now live (check the top notice) and I'm in the process of setting up the public forums, so we'll be fully live very soon! Thanks so much for your patience, everyone. Apparently internet isn't as abundant in Alabama as it should be haha.2012-06-02 15:18:00

Yeah, it was just an extra forum that wasn't really doing anything. That beta is long since over. If you want, I can archive it in The Vault for beta participants to read through when they want. Would that be preferable?

Well, you're right of course, it has been just sitting there collecting dust for years -.- But once or twice I have ventured into that end of the forum to check something or simply for nostalgic purposes It'd be nice if it was archived but the index is pretty massive even without those extra forums
Also, whatever happened to the wiki forum

We can archive it, sure. That would drop its size down to one forum, instead of a full category, but still let you peruse at your disposal. How's that?

The wiki forum is around, but rarely used and only visible to Wiki staff. Privacy is the point.

If you didn't participate in our private beta forums during the LBP2 beta (which is the majority of our users) then you won't be able to see it.

LBPC is full of secret forums. :3
Spotlight forum, The Vault, BETA Forums ...
... Eh, I'm going off-topic ... The VITA Forums indeed look smexy, can't wait until the game comes out and it will drown in posts.

Yeah but I used to have access to it That's where I got all the badges for the PSP level pages that I never got around to finishing. I'll definitely get them finished soon

Back on the subject of the PS3 beta forums, I can still actually access them by viewing my threads from my profile. The search results show the threads I have started in the beta forums and I can get to the whole section from there.
So I guess it's fine like that

EDIT: ok, I see the archive on the forum index now. Even better

Okay, so we have an Archive now, which should be freely viewable for all members. It is located in The Vault, under General Stuff. Private forums will be archived there as well, although only those who were involved with the content discussed in said private forums will be able to view them. That said, it should be a very useful tool for us to have, especially since LBP1/LBP PSP will soon become obsolete. I did my best to ensure the permissions work as expected, but permissions are incredibly difficult to get right - so if anything doesn't work like you think it should, let me know.2012-06-09 15:45:00

For privacy reasons only active team members (and site staff) can view active development forums, and I'm fairly certain you're not on the Wiki development team.

I thought the whole point of a Wiki was that it could be created by everyone?

I thought the whole point of a Wiki was that it could be created by everyone?

It is! Everybody logged into LBPC is also logged into the wiki and ready to start expanding it.

The convention on most wikis is to use talk pages (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Talk_pages) for discussion. Every article has a second page devoted to conversation regarding it. You're free to post comments on any talk page on the wiki! It is admittedly not the most convenient thing in the universe, but if you're considering editing the wiki anyway the talk pages are at least close at hand.

The downside, so to speak, is that talk pages are 100% public. Everything that is said on them can be viewed by everyone. Even if you delete some comments, the text will still be available in the edit history. We therefore have the private wiki forum to discuss things of a sticky administrative nature. Fortunately there are not too many such things!

Ok, I'm in the beta now but I can't access the forum here because first I have to send CC a link to a message I posted on the official beta forum. Well I can't do that because I can't access the official forum either. Every time i enter my name and password I get a message "Missing return URL parameter". Same when i try to sign into the PSN website. I can sign in to my PS3 and Vita, but I just can't sign into any PSN related sites on my laptop. I have no idea what this missing URL parameter crap is all about...I've never seen that before.2012-06-19 22:32:00

Don't go to any trouble, the beta forum here has practically zero activity...

Well I managed to sign into the official beta site by signing into lbp.me first and opening new tab from there, but when I click on the forum link it tells me "you have insufficient priveleges for this action".

Surely if I'm in the beta, I should have the "sufficient privelege" to access the forum!?

I know that I can't enter lbpcentral's beta forum without contacting CC first, but I can't even access the official beta forum at PSN to make the prerequisite post and prove to CC that I am in the beta. I can log in, submit bug reports and do everything else, but when i try to access the forum it tells me i dont have the privilege. Maybe it's because I never recieved an official email, just logged into PSN and found my code there waiting for me?

Or.... You could build a quick version of Space Assassin vita edition, publish it, and send CC the beta level link to prove you're in the beta.
