Do the makers of LBP even see or get the ideas we post? | 2009-01-04 23:30:00 Author: MrLinksys Posts: 35 |
I don't think so. But then again, Mm are all epic beings that are more powerfull than we will ever be. their meager creations dwarf anything we could acomplish. they have lighting swiches. | 2009-01-05 02:19:00 Author: DRT99 Posts: 431 |
Sam Protagonist from Sony visits the forums now and again and can occasionally be found in here having a browse, though this forum isn't any sort of official channel to MM you never know who's browsing. Cheers QuozL | 2009-01-05 02:22:00 Author: QuozL Posts: 921 |

Cheers QuozL QuozL pretty much hit the nail on the head. Mm themselves have said they do keep an eye out for suggestions on fansites and other internet areas. We're the biggest fansite and we have a Sony dev here from time to time, so I'd be very surprised if they didn't check out this forum every once in a while. | 2009-01-05 02:38:00 Author: ConfusedCartman Posts: 3729 |
Yeah, Mm said they read the community sites, and I believe they do try to keep an eye on as many different forums and fansites as they can. Excluding the holidays and weekends, Sam Protaganist reads. answers questions, and posts fairly regularly over at littlebigworkshop.com (and it's European equivalent), and in my opinion he's far more knowledgeable about what's really going on with the devs and the game than the guys that post "Sack it to me" on the playstation blog. | 2009-01-05 08:37:00 Author: Shalatii Posts: 103 |

They probably watch community sites and forums more than we think, what better place for learning about what the community wants/thinks/bugs and glitches they've found/etc than fansites is there? | 2009-01-05 11:09:00 Author: Marklin80 Posts: 458 |
probelm is they cant say that they will use that idea because you could sue them or ask money, so they probley think that a good idea how can we make it with out it be seen as copy right,, so they probley have to find away round us sueing them first, i know most of use wouldnt do it, but some people what to get money even though it improves their game or makes it easy to play | 2009-01-05 11:24:00 Author: panzer3000 Posts: 362 |

It's important that they keep an ear on their player base. | 2009-01-06 10:31:00 Author: Elbee23 Posts: 1280 |

That's like saying that if someone on some occasion has come up with an idea nobody may newer again haw the same idea and implement it. SO because I've said that they need more colors on stickers they are not allowed to have the same idea or use mine just because I've said it aloud. there are things like patent and Ip which make sure that nobody should be able to d exact copies of you product/idea but then you will need to get a patent first, and i doubt that you could get a patent on an idea for someone else's product. I even doubt more that someone with a sane mind would actually try to do this and then also go to a court and try to get some money through something that silly. | 2009-01-06 11:14:00 Author: Marklin80 Posts: 458 |
Its actually against the law to do so. but if they say they came up with the idea its VERY hard to prove. same with patent and patentbureau's. You walk up the desk, tell a person your idea, they check if it allready exists, they say it does and then file your idea as your's.. you might never find out.. same with patent websites, if you use their searchengine to see if your idea allready exists, chances are big that they keep it logged for obvious reasons. so.. an idea can be stolen.. | 2009-01-06 15:03:00 Author: Luos_83 Posts: 2136 |
