Have you ever gathered some friends and made a level completely out of improvisation? Okay, so you start off with a basic idea, like the plot. Either someone's already come up with a plot or you get an idea from just derping around. Once that's thought of, improvisation just takes the way. Everyone comes up with jokes, dialogue, characters, level design, and whatever else as time goes on. Most ideas usually come from taking out random objects and using them as characters. What makes it fun is that everyone contributes and has ideas that you wouldn't think of. My friends and I have made full levels in under a few hours! That's pretty much how most episodes of The Dups are made. It can be lots of fun, depending on who you're creating with. It's most fun doing it with friends who think like you.

Usually I just have an idea, and if I like it, I start thinking a lot about it, then I start creating. I don't really have a script or anything. Usually when I start creating around the idea, I have most of the beginning and part of the middle in my head, but I usually have no idea about the ending. I fill in the blanks as I go along.

I build the same way, but I still generally prefer to control whats going on. If I have something specific I need help on then that's different, but when it comes to building from scratch, even when I have a half finished idea I build solo.
