This is the thread where I show you my first experiences with Gimp. So help please

It's not a filter or anything, it's actually just a brush that I fooled around with.

Oh. Yeah I just used Clouds for the backround and a supernova in the corner.

What filter is that, mosaic? It looks awesome

, try the artistic filters like cubism, they rule.

Yep it's mosaic. And some other clothing filter that made it more grainy.

I kinda like mosaic but I always transform the pic after i used a filter so you can't recognize them easily.

I try to do that but it doesn't work out as planned (it works out somehow better

)

No, not really. People who make sigs want to hear feedback about their sigs, not go through a bunch to find it. You guys aren't thinking straight - you two even have your own signature threads.

Nice stuff, but I think you should start working with renders. http://www.planetrender.net/ has some good renders. :arg:

That actually was not confetti it was ;

Render Lava > Red Border > Cubism > Major Blur

Ok the background to the first one is really cool and you must tell me how you did it (now

), but I'm not sure on the filter on the render itself :o I think you should have left it how it was, like on the second sig, which is very cool ^^

Also a tip to help with renders, you know you get those annoying white bits around the outside, either zoom in and deal with them, or blur round the edges, clears them right up

Okay thanks. That's why I blurred the entire first image so the white border was unrecognizable.
