A wild unXpectiD appeared!

Archive: 16 posts

Its been a while, so I thought I'd make one of these.
Just in case you don't know me, I'm a cynical grammar Nazi with no fashion sense and an irrational love of pigeons.
And apparently I died a while ago.

Nice to meet you

I think you meant
Mister UnXpectiD, I am glad you are back! I thought that you were gone for good but, here you are, back at last. I cannot wait to see if you are going to make some levels, welcome back grammar Nazi!

A majority of the errors seemed to be spelling based, then improper usage of tenses and of the verb "to be" are most common after that.
A subsection of these errors is a disregard for the subjunctive.

Another note is that your use of homonyms was, oddly, consistant.

I guess this was to be expected...

I honestly have to edit my post right away if I notice a grammatical error.

So Mr. Grammar Nazi,
I have one thing to say for your grammar based facism.
I think it looks better as, " A majority of the errors seemed to be spelling based, but then again, improper usage of tenses as well as the verb "to be" are most common after that."

That's right, I say my version is more sound when written in this tongue. What do you have to say to that?

Great, what wrath may I have just invoked.

Welcome back.

I have two points, the first is that your improvements were just connectives. ",but then again," needn't be added as it is within a pair of commas, in cases such as these, they act like parenthesis (Which implies it is not necessary text)
The second point is that I have a character limit to work to and connectives eat it up.

P.S.
Your name is an awkward one. Oh, and my wrath is firey(As in hell's roasting fire, not marshmallow toasting fire) and nigh on endless.

I'll give you "but then again." However, I stand by "as well as," even if it not grammatically superior, simply because your version of that part seems awkward. No excuses for character count.

Also...marshmallows are delicious.

Good day.
