My favourite Bond movie is For Your Eyes Only and my favourite scene is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzqGrJNCtZ4 And the way he says "Love a drive in the country, don't you?" is soooo **** good. Favourite line. But that's just my opinion, I'd love to hear others favourite Bond scenes. | 2012-05-21 16:57:00 Author: BasketSnake ![]() Posts: 2391 |
Wonder if this one will reveal more about the Quantum organization or if they'll just be abandoned as a plot element. I like Daniel Craig as Bond at any rate, though I just hope this film is better then Quantum of Solace and of the same quality as Casino Royale. Incidently, my favorite Bond movie is either Thunderball or Goldfinger, though Thunderball might just edge it out because it has my favorite Bond intro music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sT0x7QiJI1g | 2012-05-22 03:15:00 Author: Dapiek Absaroka ![]() Posts: 512 |
I was a life long Bond fan until Daniel Craig took over. He plays the role way too serious and edgy and just doesn't cut it as Bond at all IMO. Casino Royale was so mind numbingly dull that I stopped the DVD half way through the film and quit watching out of sheer boredom. I didn't even bother with Quantum. I want the old Bond back. Camp, cheesy, formulaic and packed with sexual innuendo, ridiculous stunts and classic gimmicky villains. | 2012-05-22 22:44:00 Author: Ungreth ![]() Posts: 2130 |

I've seen a few Bond films, but I don't think I have seen them all. I can't really pick a favourite. But I just love scenes like.. the miniature city reveal (Goldfinger?), the villain/cat chiches, bond theme, babes in bikinis, love interest's names, etc. Oh, and all the intro titles to the films are awesome. Always interested to see what they do with those for each movie/theme. | 2012-08-02 10:18:00 Author: midnight_heist ![]() Posts: 2513 |
I hope this is better than the last one. Casino Royale was brilliant. It brought in a new Bond, a rough edged individual that was the Bond we know in waiting, and through the journey in the film he slowly becomes the character we love and know... which of course is why they chose to use the stock line, 'My name's Bond, James Bond' at the end of the film for the first time. And then the second film. The journey that Bond had just travelled in the first film was totally ditched and he became just your average action adventure hero. Dull, boring and pointless. | 2012-08-05 09:56:00 Author: GribbleGrunger ![]() Posts: 3910 |

I REALLY like Daniel Craig as James Bond, and I'm sure this will be a really good Bond movie. I can't wait to see it! | 2012-08-25 05:40:00 Author: gamerguy5432 ![]() Posts: 333 |
I loved the Roger Moore James Bond movies. I personally think he has done the best by far. Sean Connery was ok in the role, and I have never seen Daniel Craig in the role, but I have heard he was good in it. | 2012-08-28 03:03:00 Author: amoney1999 ![]() Posts: 1202 |

All the famous spys have the initials JB: James Bond, Jason Bourne, and Justin Bieber. Interesting. | 2012-08-29 18:06:00 Author: gamerguy5432 ![]() Posts: 333 |
Don't you even dare... At least he was good as Indy's dad. I've only seen Sean Connery in 1 James Bond movie. I think it was called "To Russia, with Love" or somethin' like that. | 2012-08-31 03:11:00 Author: amoney1999 ![]() Posts: 1202 |
Piers Brosnan > Roger Moore > Sean Connery > Timothy Dalton > George Lazenby > Daniel Craig IMHO | 2012-09-08 02:57:00 Author: Ungreth ![]() Posts: 2130 |
I thought Sean Connery was before Roger Moore. Also, Fun Fact: Dolph Lundgren's first movie appearence was a minion in A View to Kill (my fave James Bond movie) | 2012-09-08 03:15:00 Author: amoney1999 ![]() Posts: 1202 |

I've seen it. T'was cool. Much better than Quantum of Solace, maybe even better than Casino Royale. The trailers made it seem like Bond coming back from the dead was a big deal, but it stops mattering after 10 minutes. It's Mass Effect 2 all over again. | 2012-10-27 17:25:00 Author: SnipySev ![]() Posts: 2452 |

If the trailer had revealed something like that that was a big deal then it would've been a terrible trailer. | 2012-10-27 20:23:00 Author: Patronus21 ![]() Posts: 266 |
I'm actually probably going to be seeing this movie for an assignment for my Professional Development class as part of my 3D Animation for Game and Film course. Don't ask why; all you need to know is that my school is awesome. | 2012-10-27 20:51:00 Author: xero ![]() Posts: 2419 |

Don't ask why; all you need to know is that my school is awesome. An assignment where the end result can involve James Bond? That does sound awesome. Anyway, this movie looks real great. 2012 has overall, been the best year for movies in a while for me, although maybe it's because I was pickier before and didn't take as many risks with certain movies. | 2012-10-27 21:08:00 Author: Dragonvarsity ![]() Posts: 5208 |
Hopefully you didn't miss out on any good movies as a result of being too picky before! | 2012-10-27 23:06:00 Author: xero ![]() Posts: 2419 |

Good to know, and I assume it's more of a "faking death" thing rather then some hamfisted Jesus analogy? (which wouldn't really work at all given the character) ![]() | 2012-10-28 01:35:00 Author: Dapiek Absaroka ![]() Posts: 512 |
Good to know, and I assume it's more of a "faking death" thing rather then some hamfisted Jesus analogy? (which wouldn't really work at all given the character) ![]() No, it's much more simpler than that. Now this isn't a huge spoiler because the trailers cover pretty much all of it: he gets accidentally shot by his partner because M made a bad call, falls into a river and they believe him dead. He lives off the grid for a few months and when the MI6 is targeted by cyber-terrorists, he returns to active duty. No one bats an eye at his reappearance. That's pretty much it. | 2012-10-28 10:25:00 Author: SnipySev ![]() Posts: 2452 |
