For a second, I though this was a B3 level... huh.

I'll play it soon.

Everything should be fine now.

Sounds like a B3 level, feels like a VJ one. :3
I liked it very much, quick reflexes are needed to get the combos, and you need to think fast to take the right path.
Definitly playing this again ... And again ... And again ...

ALERT! ALERT! Sensing a tangent! May I suggest Profile or Private Messaging?

Anyway, VJ, I played the level and loved the feeling of it, the fast platforming, and the bubble combinations and such. Overall, a lovely platformer with a touch of blue and an excess of great gameplay. As always!

Level name: Touch of Blue

PSN: VelcroJonze

Gameplay - it was very unique and required some skill and timing. The way how you used the layers and made the gameplay was brilliant. There were lots of bubbles under way so it added the level more challenge and replay value. Everything worked nicely. 15/15

Design - the whole level was well corner-edited but still it lacks by the material choice and there were not much stickers. The basic wood just didn't fit in my opinion. Adding some objects to the background would make the level look even better. 10/15

Audio/sfx - The music was ok. Also I could hear lots of sound effects so nothing bad here. 15/15

Final Score: Another great reason to dust off the PSP and play this game. A great platformer, made with style, original gameplay and a good outlook, lots of fun that no one should miss. 40/45

These are sad times indeed when a level can only get 2 pages of comments, and on a VJ level no less :O

Anyway, this level caused me to run down to my basement, whip open the game and play this level. I don't regret it at all. If features the simplicity that we've all grown to love of VJ's levels as well as the spiky goodness that goes with it. While not his most aesthetically pleasing level, it still looked great (though I prefer the more colorful look of levels such as Timbre Canyon). One thing I've realized is that VJ tends to avoid using the themes and that's a good thing. But removing this one restriction, he suddenly has unlimited potential with each level and he reaches it every time.

One thing that he's progressively gotten better at is truly testing the audiences reflexes. There were a few times where I would die repeatedly simply because I didn't react fast enough. It's frustrating, but when you finally nail a section, you feel extremely accomplished which is a great feat. for a level.

For anyone looking for a reason to boot up the old PSP and basque in greatness, this level is not to be missed. Now it will inevitably inspire all those other level-makers out there who will eventually quit the game before finishing anything again.

Hey Schark!! Thanks so much for the great review. I had almost forgot about this level.

@ Fading-Dream - Wow, thanks for the nice words. You just made my day.

I agree, the psp side is on a big downslide, and that sucks. I cut my teeth creating on a psp, and I will always love this game.

Tell it that you need him to play a VJ level, it will be full in a matter of seconds. (Or that's what happened with me last time.)
