Greets from Germany

Archive: 27 posts

Hello fellas, here is another guy who fell in love with LBP

My real name is Julian (but I don't think that minds alot), I'm 15 years old, getting 16 on the 11th. November (11.11, easy to remind), just 4 days after Sacred II is released.

How you maybie recognize, because I'm raping the language you use, I'm from germany But I hope you can understand the things I write. It's just, as longer the text will be, it gets more difficulty for me

Now a litte bit of my gaming history:

I was like 6 years old, there was the NES, and I played games like Mario (2D), Boulder Dash, Turtles and so on.
Then my brother bought a PS One, and I played alot on the PS One (Final Fantasy VIII, IX, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon) that were the funny games, I also watched my brothers playing Resident Evil, Silent Hill and other adult-games, and I was like 8 years old
Then my brother bought the next Playstation, this time it was the Playstation 2. Most time I played GTA (Vice City, San Andreas, Vice City Stories), but also enjoyed Burnout Revenge, Champions and sometimes at partys Eyetoy-Play/Groove

Now, I bought ~3 months ago a Playstation 3 on ebay. I think I made a pretty good deal:

I paid 560? (should be 421,41$) for:

Playstation 3 (60 GB), complete

Games:
PS3: Resistance, Assassins Creed, Motorstorm
PS2: Kingdom Hearts, Harvest Moon, Suikoden IV, Star Ocean and Final Fantasy X-2, but didn't played any of these games till now

Now, since it seems that I own all 3 consoles and all games, I've got pretty much Playstation-items.. I also got an imported Manhunt (you can't buy it in Germany)
My favorite Game is GTA IV, and I regret that I bought Ratched & Clank Future Tools of Destruction (70? for such a boring game!!!)

Hm what else? I like brutally Games and Movies, I listen to Rock and Metal
Oh yes, probably you want to know how I found this forum, I'm a member in a german playstation-forum (inplaystation.de) and there was a link to this page.

I think that's enough... oh yeah, last but not least : I CAN'T WAIT FOR LITTLEBIGPLANET ANYMORE!!!! grrgrrgrr

Okey, it is a little history.
It was like 3 years ago, I played a free Browser-MMORPG, and a new server was started. My brother created an account and played a bit, but then he gave it to me and I played with it and so on. My brother choosed the Nick "Static Wayne" (Wayne Static does the vocals in the band "Static-X"), he just swapped the names, because there was an other guy called Wayne Static. Everybody called me Static, so I edited my nickname to Static. It's short, easy to remind and sounds cool. And because I often make fun, and I do like the Indiana Jones-Movies, I called myself Indiana Static, called my items after that and wrote a history that's similiar to Indiana Jones And so, IndianaStatic was born

But I don't use IndianaStatic as nickname, I just use StC. (short version of Static) as nickname, I just took IndianaStatic because that's also my PSN-Nick

Yeah, that's because it translates word-for-word and cannot take things like context, sarcasm, and tone into account. I tried doing my French homework with it once. Never again will I make that mistake.

I'm writing how I think it's right, and it seems working. If I don't know a word, I go to dict.cc.2008-08-15 21:31:00

Yeah, you are doing fairly well. I understand you just fine, so it's not a problem.

Yeah, well, even if I wanted to, I couldn't. I take Latin, and there are NO latin translators.
