Alright, it was a bad decision, we're back to the way we were :)

Alright, due to the less-than-awesome reception and the long days of work in order to get things to an acceptable level, the "so called" new style has been scrapped. The style wasn't so expensive that I would force it upon you guys unwillingly. We've always been about what you guys want, and because of that, we're back. Forgive me?2009-01-04 07:20:00

Honestly? It would be another skin I'd have to code and format every time we made changes to the site. It took me over 12 hours after I installed it to get things to a readable and browse-able level. In order to get colors, design, and everything up to par, it would take so much work that I don't feel it would be worth it, especially since we've already got one that everyone's happy with.

Essentially, it doubles the workload of any changes made to the site.		2009-01-04 07:26:00

I'm gone for a couple of days and miss the new (old already) layout

If so many people didn't get to see it (distinguished and elites ) then maybe you rushed too quickly to listen to others that didn't like it.
SCRAP THAT actually, what am I talking about, I HATE change lol

But, like I said, it would have taken too much work for one person to get it up to a point that everyone would be happy with it. Too many people outright hated it for me to put more time and effort into it.

Sucks about the $32.99 you dropped on it... I do hope you'll reconsider some of the suggestions that were being thrown about in that topic. I really think the only thing that was missing from the new style was the LBPC banner you see at the top of the screen. Other than that, it was very proficient looking.

CC, I'm really grateful for what you've done with this forum. When we joined (around the same few days if I remember) it wasn't anywhere near it's potential, and you've had a major part in helping it get there. And with that, you've been given a lot of responsibility and many decisions to make. Obviously you won't always get it right every single time, no-one ever does, and hence where the community comes in. It's really great to see you listen to the community, so thanks. I may not always agree with things on the forum, and decisions made, but overall you've really taken this community to real great place, and helped build a friendly atmosphere (thanks mainly to all our awesome members too of course ).

Personally, I would of like to test out the new theme a bit longer to see if I would end up liking it just as much as this one, but no worries. I'm sorry that you had to spend that money on it too, as you obviously didn't need to do that.		2009-01-05 23:16:00
