Was I the only one? Unfortunately, I and the PS3 got shoved to the still HD, but significantly smaller screen upstairs as my dad apparently thought that the Wii would be more popular in the living room... *Mutters under breath.* ...But I got a full suite of controllers, and a copy of LBP in-drive. Actually turned out it was more popular than the Wii, and had around six or seven people in my parents' bedroom at one point. Including one girl who's actually played it and likes it, meaning knowledge of play, which is always a plus. (And is annoyed by her brother's constant addiction to the game. Hrm.) Didn't get much platforming in because at some points, people were diving off short cliffs into sharp spikes like lemmings, (No, use the button on the top. The small one, not the big one. Yeah, that's how you grab.) but it was fairly fun overall. AND it turned out to be more popular than the Wii was. Haha, take THAT, motion control party games! Anybody else?

I had a similar experience yesterday. Some friends came over with the aim of playing Guitar Hero: World Tour. We finished up on that, and I mentioned that LBP is a great game to get, as one of them actually owns a PS3 (I did not know until that day). Well, we fired it up and I have 4 controllers, so all 4 of us could go together. Crazy stuff. We spent about 2 and a half hours mucking around, and my friend will definitely be getting a copy for himself. They left about 12:30am. I think that's a lot latter than what they initially planned. I almost had to shoo them out the door. It looks like LBP is a great "anyone plays" game, similar to what most of the Wii games do. I think it's great that games are being built that are being played by and enjoyed by everyone and anyone, it really helps to make video gaming as a whole much more socially acceptable.
