How do I import photos from my harddrive to lbp2?
Archive: 9 posts
Ok in community lvls I always see those great stickers with something fancy outgame on it and I am really wondering, how do they do that? I want that! Could someone tell me how people create there own stickers? I can't really find an option for it in the menu and it would be really great if I could import images. | 2012-05-17 14:31:00 Author: dutch Posts: 54 |
importing... you can't creating... move kit | 2012-05-17 14:35:00 Author: ForgottenEnigma Posts: 1414 |
Photos? Is it possible you're just referring to pictures taken with an Eye? If you've got an old Eyetoy, or the new Eye that comes with a Move, then you can use those to take photos in-game. There's a page in the Stickers section of the Popit with 7 stickers with an eye logo in the middle. If your Eye is plugged in, those stickers display whatever your camera see's. Or if you mean regular stickers that are just custom-made, then you're talking about the Paint Tool from the Move DLC. | 2012-05-17 14:38:00 Author: Ostler5000 Posts: 1017 |
Keep in mind you can still create a pretty detailed object in create mode and just take a snapshot with it. Tons of highly detailed custom stickers have been done that way. Including level badges. | 2012-05-17 14:49:00 Author: jwwphotos Posts: 11383 |
Aw I thought you could dam . I wish I had an eye toy, maybe someone could print out the pictures I want on an A4 and then picture it with the eye toy and then send those to me . I could also create them, but I think it will look very clunky on the end and not to mention that takes like hours for me. I could better spend that time creating a new lvl . EDIT: Also whats all this with that move support? If I can remember correctly they kinda promised us in the LBP2 beta full mouse and keyboard support in LBP2. That also doesn't seem to be in it. Money rulz I guess.. | 2012-05-17 14:57:00 Author: dutch Posts: 54 |
I guess the way you'd get pictures into the game at the moment would be to spoof an update. | 2012-05-18 22:16:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |
Hi there. What pictures are you looking to make? LBP2 does support keyboard. If you have a USB keyboard, just plug it into a usb port on your ps3. | 2012-05-21 04:00:00 Author: Sean88 Posts: 662 |
The main reason why we can't import pictures from hard drive is because it could be a copyright violation. But you can use the Playstation Eye camera, but be careful of what pictures you take. You don't want to take pictures of copyrighted images with the Playstation Eye or take pictures of something inappropriate. | 2012-05-21 19:04:00 Author: Apple2012 Posts: 1408 |

I actually was trying to get some copyright images off the game hamsterball. (Not really a well known game so probably not even noticed) @Sean 88 Well the support off keyboard only is for posting messages as far as I know. Why couldn't they add macros to certain things like material shape and specific materials x.x | 2012-05-21 21:00:00 Author: dutch Posts: 54 |
