Can't save changes to my siggy :(
Archive: 6 posts
With the recent update, the IMGLINK code no longer works and needs to be replaced with IMG. However, when I try to change it, it refuses to save, saying "The following errors occurred with your submission: BB code url is not allowed." It seems the problem is my use of the url tag to include links in my sig. Those links work just fine as it is now but it won't let me save a new signature with them. Is this a bug or are we no longer allowed to include links in our sigs? Or is there a different way of coding a link that I don't know about? The code I'm using currently is as follows: http://i5.lbp.me/img/bl/8c534e571f763748ef480c5d27da698cc2dbfc4e.png (http://lbp.me/v/xzbrgn) Which used to look like this (clicking the pic links to the level page): http://i5.lbp.me/img/bl/8c534e571f763748ef480c5d27da698cc2dbfc4e.png (http://lbp.me/v/xzbrgn) (I changed the IMGLINK code to IMG and it works fine here, but the URL is preventing me from saving it to my sig) But now it looks like this: http://i5.lbp.me/img/bl/8c534e571f763748ef480c5d27da698cc2dbfc4e.png (http://lbp.me/v/xzbrgn) | 2012-05-17 07:58:00 Author: Sehven Posts: 2188 |

Well yeah, I can obviously type the correct code as evidenced by the working clickable pic in my post. The problem is that when I try to correct it, it refuses to allow me to save my signature because it doesn't seem to like the [URL] tag. I can fix the pictures in my siggy but I'd have to remove all of the links, defeating the entire purpose. | 2012-05-18 11:55:00 Author: Sehven Posts: 2188 |
I can save http://i5.lbp.me/img/bl/8c534e571f763748ef480c5d27da698cc2dbfc4e.png (http://lbp.me/v/xzbrgn) as my signature and it works ok. Under Signature Permissions is Allow Link BBCode set to Yes? | 2012-05-18 22:33:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |
Under Signature Permissions is Allow Link BBCode set to Yes? No, it's set to "No" for some reason. Am I the only one with this problem? Well, I pm'd CC so I guess he'll get back to me when he has time. | 2012-05-23 21:45:00 Author: Sehven Posts: 2188 |
I'm fairly certain this was due to an incorrect setting in the LBP2 Beta usergroup, which Sehven happens to be a part of still. I fixed the permissions for that usergroup so things should be back to normal now. Let me know if anyone else encounters this issue and I'll look into it further. | 2012-05-31 20:29:00 Author: ConfusedCartman Posts: 3729 |
