Need help on a level I'm creating

Archive: 7 posts

Well this is the first time I've ever created a level - I've based it on one of the pre-set themes and I've added bits to it.

I could do with somebody to help make enemies and help improve it for me, Now I've heard that you can play up to four people on level creater but i have no idea how to do it, but I'd be willing to have a go if you have some good ideas.

Its strange, I love making levels (even though this is my first one and it is quite simple..) but I can't make enemies or anything, If you could help make traps or enemies it'd be really good help and I'd put your PSN Tag in the author comments

My PSN tag is Enraged_Hydra and the level is called Aztec Temple. I only started it yesterday but i've published it and funnily enough as bad as the level is, Somebody has hearted it!

Sorry to say it, but online Create Mode isn't out yet, meaning you can only do multiplayer Create Mode on the same console.

Anyways, welcome to LittleBigPlanetCentral! You've got a great attitude about the game, and don't worry; you'll get better. I love your enthusiasm.

That sucks, I guess if anybody still wants to help out they could put the enemies they've made on a level for me and I'd heart their tag as a way of saying thanks for making them for me and I'd put everyone that helps out towards making enemies on the author comments

As this is an aztec themed level (and maybe one of many if it goes down well!) I was thinking bats and Skellengtons, I already have three bats in a 'secret' chamber where there are alot of points to be had.

So I guess just move able enemies would suit it fine would only need two-three to make it a decent level I guess

Also if anyone wants to go and play on my work in progress feel free to do so, and at the end make your way right insted of left on the grabbable objects part (Basicly grab the highest and go into that corner below the white mist ;]) and tell me what you think about it! I could do with some help with that too

Thanks alot

Have you done all the tutorials?
They are good for teaching you how to make things like enemies

Well, I'd suggest keep with the theme.

I did a temples level a while back and added some scarabs that are pretty flashy. They have spiked mandibles and the brain is in the mouth. Tricky to kill by trying to clear the mandibles, but pretty easy if you catch them from a different plane (depth).

If you want to use them or base a new design off them, I can send you the object. Add my PSN and send me a PM since I probably won't check this thread.

Some other ideas would be snakes, mummies, pharaoh dogs, etc.

Problem is... Aztec isn't Egyptian. I would say yeah to the bug idea, but Pharaohs don't belong. I recommend fire ants, birds of paradise, wild boar, giant spiders and things of that nature. if you are going Aztec, go strong with the jungle theme with the enemies, and it will really show us the Aztec look.

go with lots of trapdoors and hidden hallways, as well as floor, wall and ceiling traps to use as obstacles, and it will take the place of enemies in a lot of places. I'm excited to see how the level turns out!
