Patch 1.13

Well, it's out. I'm assuming it fixed the stuck-in-rate-menu-in-multiplayer bug, and hopefully those darn shadows. I hope it didn't fix my chances of use the overlord glitch to get that one unobtainable decoration in the Move pack. 2012-05-12 01:49:00

I haven't tested it myself, but i'm pretty sure it did NOT fix the problems from 1.12

We're aware of the issues that arose with Game Update 1.12 and are working round the clock to get these issues fixed asap, which will hopefully be in Game Update 1.14 and will be released as soon as possible.

So to summarise...
1.13 Due May 14th - DLC Patch
1.14 Coming Asap - Bug Fix and DLC Patch

In the meantime though, Game Update 1.13 contains the DLC due for release for the next month, which I will be telling you all about soon... So be sure to keep an eye out for that.

Update: Game Update 1.13 is now due to go out on Monday, May 14th.
This will not affect the DLC schedule or delay the Game Update 1.14 release

UPDATE: You may want to hold off on downloading 1.13 if you happen to get it. I don't know whats going on but a lot of my friends, close and distant to where i live did NOT get 1.13 when starting . So i don't know why we got it early. But now i can't join anyone because they haven't gotten the patch update yet.		2012-05-12 02:44:00

I don't support anyone using overlord as I consider it bug abusing and should come with a permanent ban from LBP. I wish MM would just ban everyone who has ever used it.2012-05-12 20:13:00

A few friends of mine already has the update, but I don't have it yet. I even updated my system, but I didn't get the game update.

So just to clarify.
Update 1.13 is due for monday, but some people are getting it early.
It does not patch bugs (fair enough, at least that's been acknowledged)
It's for DLC.

I'm pretty sure they don't discriminate by "special" edition... all it has was extra dlc... region is much more plausible but I'd love to see an official source to prove me wrong.		2012-05-13 18:28:00

Ok, so what I see that only the US users who don't have the special edition got the update. My friend Popsville didn't get the update because he can join me. But most of my friends didn't.2012-05-13 20:45:00

I guess we can call Update 1.13 "The Update of Temporary Separation"

There's about 13 friends online but I can only join one

EDIT: Oh, patch 1.13 is now available to me! Still, the point stands. Update 1.13 should be called "The Update of Temporary Separation".		2012-05-14 09:34:00

I just received notification of a 1.13 update. Every time I go and try to update, it downloads up to 99% and cancels itself out. I cannot play LBP2 online because of this. This has never happened before. Is anybody else having the same problem?2012-05-14 14:04:00

um, this happened back in the lbp2 beta. The way it was fixed then was.

1. decline the update
2. it should sign you out of psn
3. once in the pod sign in
4. accept the update
5. hopefully it should now work		2012-05-14 14:56:00

Thank you for your advice Dav1d0. I did try that earlier and it did not work. I just attempted to update now and it went through. The download time was really quick...before it was taking almost ten minutes. Guess it was a server problem. All set.2012-05-14 15:42:00
