ERR. MIB is a cool shows, but as costumes they don't seem very useful besides from the guns so far IMO. *mew | 2012-05-10 20:48:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
Interesting! I wonder what the other costumes in the pack will be. Bug-filled Vincent D'Onofrio (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vincent_D%27Onofrio), anyone? | 2012-05-10 20:49:00 Author: Uncuddly Posts: 237 |

yeah, there just promotional costumes for the film i'm guessing, but still it's great that LBP is being seen as a viable option for promotion. it demonstrates the weight the franchise has now | 2012-05-10 21:07:00 Author: GribbleGrunger Posts: 3910 |

It's a good sign that they're expanding the licensed properties beyond Disney some more for me. Are there any details if there will be additional costumes or stickers included? | 2012-05-10 21:52:00 Author: Behonkiss Posts: 229 |
There will be four costumes total. Head over to the wiki (http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/Sack_in_Black_Costume) for some renders of the Sack in Black himself. http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/images/thumb/3/30/Sack_in_Black_Costume.png/150px-Sack_in_Black_Costume.png | 2012-05-10 22:07:00 Author: Uncuddly Posts: 237 |
aka yet another gun and glasses pack ;p When you say another gun? In which older pack there was a gun? . . . . The gun looks cool, but also, isn't it a little too big? I think it would be better if it was a little smaller... :/ | 2012-05-10 22:19:00 Author: AntonyHelen Posts: 127 |

It's a good sign that they're expanding the licensed properties beyond Disney some more for me. Are there any details if there will be additional costumes or stickers included? Man in Black is produced by Columbia Pictures which is owned by Sony, so practicly is Sony IP same as Uncharted for exmaple. Same as Ghostbusters which we also had pack from it | 2012-05-10 22:47:00 Author: Shadowriver Posts: 3991 |
Cool guns. Don't care much for the suits but the shades are also cool. Might get it just for th guns i'm sure i'll find a use for them. | 2012-05-10 22:50:00 Author: Lordwarblade Posts: 761 |

It all depends on how the suits break down and how they sticker, but it does look pretty neat, and the glasses look almost perfect in shape for on of my WIP costumes for BTTF... just need some more hat styles now EDIT: Prices are on the link ?1.59 / €1.99 / US $1.99 / AUS $ 3.45 / NZD $3.90 | 2012-05-11 07:26:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
I'll buy it for the gun no doubt. But I wish they'd make it left handed (or choose which hand) so that if you use it on a sackbot the animation looks more realistic as to where he's pointing his arm and all. | 2012-05-11 16:12:00 Author: jblalock78 Posts: 24 |

The LBP2 Facebook page has updated with the rest of the costumes. I'm digging the Gentle Rosenberg one. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150314158806831.333998.12427296830&type=1 | 2012-05-12 22:30:00 Author: Behonkiss Posts: 229 |
Yeah... that looks... interesting... it'd look pretty cool using it as a sackbot and seeing the player jump into it. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/462267_10150776690511831_12427296830_9583005_14959 77675_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/464227_10150776692376831_12427296830_9583008_38097 385_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/470841_10150776689701831_12427296830_9583004_12100 79194_o.jpg | 2012-05-12 22:45:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
The first two are very cool! I'm very interested in what other people use them for. I'm gonna guess that the guy's face lifts up during a certain emotion (Or all of them, and the sackboy inside is emoting). Hopefully the extra head emotes too, but it is still interesting nevertheless. The last costume is a bit dull but... eyes! It has new eyes. Always a good thing to me. I do want to see the false face of the top one though. I think I'll actually get this pack, what does everyone else think? | 2012-05-12 22:51:00 Author: Jedi_1993 Posts: 1518 |

Well... those are interesting. 0.0 yeah i think i'll for sure buy this pack now. *mew | 2012-05-12 23:10:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
It also seems to be drooling... maybe its animated? Missed that! It may be animated, but I do hope it is affected by gravity. So... not stiff. Otherwise it may look a bit weird. | 2012-05-12 23:11:00 Author: Jedi_1993 Posts: 1518 |
This pack looks amazing, I like how they are taking risks with the costumes as far as deforming Sackboy. I really hope that little guy sitting in his head animates. They really should make another costume with these guys- http://www.themeparkinsider.com/photos/images/PC240039.JPG They're so cute!! | 2012-05-12 23:22:00 Author: The5rozos Posts: 952 |
Here is Rosenberg's face http://i.imgur.com/rNdEe.png To clarify, that open head piece is completely separate from Rosenbergs face. | 2012-05-12 23:22:00 Author: Tynamite Posts: 150 |
The second costume has a ton of viable uses with the hair, watch, and shoes, three costume parts that are applicable to a lot of different costumes. | 2012-05-12 23:24:00 Author: Night Angel Posts: 1214 |
The wiki has more costume renders for those that are interested: Gentle Rosenberg (http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/Gentle_Rosenberg_Costume) Scrad (http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/Scrad_Costume) Boris (http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/Boris_Costume) That Boris is an unpleasant sort, isn't he? http://wiki.lbpcentral.com/images/thumb/b/b9/Boris_Costume_Pose.png/84px-Boris_Costume_Pose.png No, wait! Terrible movie, awful looking DLC. Do we really need Mm to be wasting time on this kind of crap when the game is so broken as to be virtually unplayable right now? | 2012-05-13 03:04:00 Author: Ungreth Posts: 2130 |
The closed face Rosenberg and as others have mentioned the watch and other parts give some fantastically versatile bits. It hides glasses and hair are perfect for another WIP BTTF character... 1985 George McFly! | 2012-05-13 03:07:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |

Do we really need Mm to be wasting time on this kind of crap when the game is so broken as to be virtually unplayable right now? Different people work on different aspects of the game. The folks that made these costumes may not even be a part of the same studio as the programmers responsible for bug fixes. It's not as though Sony could assign all its artists to coding duties and implement the fixes faster! | 2012-05-13 03:57:00 Author: Uncuddly Posts: 237 |
Terrible movie, awful looking DLC. Do we really need Mm to be wasting time on this kind of crap when the game is so broken as to be virtually unplayable right now? Virtually Unplayable? slight exaggeration I suppose. I look at the list of levels I've played the last two weeks and it's pretty bulky. I've had no issues whatsoever. Can we please change the name of this thread? The movie and DLC pack is "MEN in black" not "MAN." Unless this thread is actually about some Johnny Cash DLC. | 2012-05-13 04:13:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |
Unless this thread is actually about some Johnny Cash DLC. Sheesh... you sure are walking a thin line with a pun like that... | 2012-05-13 04:15:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
I'm always standing outside the ring of fire on puns. so I don't derail the DLC thread. the costume with the mini sackboy in the head...wow! I likes. | 2012-05-13 04:32:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |

It's not as though Sony could assign all its artists to coding duties and implement the fixes faster! Fair enough. I guess you have a good point there. It's just infuriating to see so much icing being produced when the cake itself is crumbling. Virtually Unplayable? slight exaggeration I suppose. I look at the list of levels I've played the last two weeks and it's pretty bulky. I've had no issues whatsoever. Lucky you. I've recently had profile corruption, console lock ups, serious online lag, and a whole host of new bugs which I'd never seen before since the last update. The game is so broken for me that I can't even face putting the disc in my console these days. | 2012-05-13 04:36:00 Author: Ungreth Posts: 2130 |
Knock on wood, I just haven't experienced these things. Then again, it might be because 99.9% of the time, I play alone. rarely does this hermit venture into someone else's pod and I don't think anybody ever has seen mine, not even my brother. Wait, I think Rickrock saw it one time. I sure miss that bugger. I know they exist and I know a lot of people are having trouble. Oh, back on topic. What's the character's name with the two headed sackboy? And the stickers for this pack looks pretty slick too. | 2012-05-13 06:23:00 Author: biorogue Posts: 8424 |
The game is so broken for me that I can't even face putting the disc in my console these days. I don't think the disc has actually left my console in like... 5 months. I still backup a lot as my other PS3 just failed and I lost, well everything else Skyrim, Batman... sigh... | 2012-05-13 06:33:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |

Is it just me, or is everyone's PS3s dying lately? I have the 60GB model and its been very loud lately and doesn't read some dvds. I guess I better start backing up all the save data. | 2012-05-13 07:17:00 Author: The5rozos Posts: 952 |

I think mine is dying too. It gets very hot and noisy very quickly. If it's true that a lot of people's consoles have been dying lately, then since so many people with PS3s have also been playing Skyrim over recent months I would speculate that Skyrim might be killing our consoles by making them work too hard. Strangely though I can run Skyrim for an hour or more before the fans kick in, yet 5 minutes with LBP2 and my PS3 is roaring like a freight train. | 2012-05-13 08:26:00 Author: Ungreth Posts: 2130 |

That's why LBP2 damages consoles badly (standing to what Sony Italian techs says) Also...Skyrim installs a big chug of the game on the HDD, while with LBP2 the PS3 goes back and forward through disc and patches. Add to that the fact that people plays LBP in create for hours and that you're forced to play online in an archaic server structure... Well, I think no game destroys PS3 like LBP does. If the whole PS3 userbase has a percentage of dead PS3 around 8-10%, in the LBP community this data reaches at least 15-20% | 2012-05-13 14:30:00 Author: OmegaSlayer Posts: 5112 |

Wouldn't that solve the problem? After all, theres no more blue-ray disc to worry about. It just sucks because I don't have $200 sitting around for a PS3. And the fact that LBPK HAS to be on a disc and can't be downloadable(the developers confirmed) I would imagine the disc is going to be brutal on any ps3. | 2012-05-13 16:34:00 Author: The5rozos Posts: 952 |

the one in the head takes on the same material colour as the main character and has your emotions on it. Didn't check if it's lips move, but I would guess that they do. | 2012-05-16 10:12:00 Author: Mr_Fusion Posts: 1799 |
Okay, what the hell? I can't sticker or put decorations on the little sackperson in the Rosenburg head. There's an invisible barrier blocking it! Why would they design it like that? Other than that, I love the second head. Makes this entire pack worth buying just for that. Just wish the hair wasn't embedded into it. | 2012-05-16 16:45:00 Author: lemurboy12 Posts: 842 |

Why would they design it like that? they did not code it that way for the LOLz. it's just the way most of costumes work in general. i understand why it happens. and unless they rework the game. nothing can help it. anything that goes behind/under the normal shape of a sack person you won't be able to sticker it on that spot normally. *mew | 2012-05-16 16:51:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |

In fact I even managed to get some paint on the pilot's left arm, but that was it. I don't own the DLC, I was just messing around in one of the user-made gallery levels. I think all this has to do with texture mapping. It's conceivable that if you change the sack material of sackboy wearing that head piece, that the pilot's material would also change. Also you might be able to sticker sackboy, then apply the head piece, and have the pilot show the original sackboy's stickers on him. just a guess. EDIT: Just saw that Mr. Fusion already said above that little pilot's material = big sackboy's material. | 2012-05-16 21:15:00 Author: LittleBigDave Posts: 324 |

Also you might be able to sticker sackboy, then apply the head piece, and have the pilot show the original sackboy's stickers on him. just a guess. EDIT: Just saw that Mr. Fusion already said above that little pilot's material = big sackboy's material. of course you were able to paint the whole thing in general. normally the only thing you are able to place the sticker on is on parts that extend pass the basic sack model shape, after that you can sticker it as much as you want once you find the right spot. i'm not saying you can't sticker these type of costumes at all. i'm saying you can't place the sticker just anywhere. the areas you can't place them on are any area that goes under the basic sack model shape normally. *mew | 2012-05-16 21:38:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |
