shadows of sackboy

The Ps2 game shadows of colossus it is one small kid against giant huge monsters and you need to hit certain parts to kill it.

My idea is to make a level just a single boss level but the boss would be huge as big as can be. the purpose would be to hit certain buttons or levers by yourself or as a team to hurt it or have a part of its body would fall off. I would plan that this level would also use the inside of the monster and hurt it from the inside ( the idea to go inside of a body i got from the forum discussing it) I feel if i could do it correctly or if someone uses this idea well it could turn out really awesome.
I don't mind if anyone uses the idea but if you do send me a message to play your level or we could work on it together.

lol i've been thinking on this idea for a long time now. though with no way to crawl up a surface you'll have to be a bit more inventive. However the final boss of the game would be quite possible.... make a giant with that dress like thing on... then with the layer infront do loads of platforms and stuff.
Additionally, the easier colossi to make would be the 4 legged ones as when moving they will be more balanced. lovely. plus more to play around with on their bodies to make obstacles to climb.

I think it is a great idea, just wonder can you have the enemy moving while you are climbing up it. You can add ropes onto it, some jetpacks to move up. Nice idea, can't wait to see it.2008-08-15 14:40:00

crap, my idea as well, to make one single level of one HUGE colossus. Perhaps lying down depending on the width/height restrictions level making will have.2008-08-15 15:03:00

lol, why is everyone complaining when 'their idea' is thought of? The chances are - every single idea you have has been thought of by someone out there. Our community is only a fraction of the amount of LBP fans.2008-08-15 15:11:00

Yeah, I have the same problem KBY. I don't want to make a big level and spend a ton of time on it if it won't be played because there are 15 different versions of the same level.

The solution? Make YOURS original!

Also, neat idea, added to the Idea Bank.

Originality FTW.

My metal gear level.... i don't mind if it doesn't get played much... i just wanna recreate shadow moses.

EDIT: If i go ahead and make such a colossus level and it turns out well, i'd call it Sackboy and the Colossus. A twist on the japanese version which was Wander and the Colossus. Shadows of Sackboy doesn't make too much sense as it doesn't mention the colossus - which it's all about!

ah this is a nice idea too and i was thinking you could make it stand up and just make his legs really thick and you could travel through his legs by like jetpacks and lifts, then travel through his chest and into his brain2008-08-15 16:51:00
