My friend recently signed up for this site, but hasn't been able to post anything because he's "awaiting approval" or something along those lines. Well, it doesn't say awaiting approval anymore, but it just simply doesn't let him make an introduction thread, and possibly even post. Why might this be happening?

You'll have to PM CC or a mod about this. I'm guessing that with the recent hacking and forum updates the staff is more on guard with new members signing up. Well that or the new update is still buggy.
