I first heard of Coheed and Cambria when I was 9 years old. Recently, I've been getting into them and was wondering if anyone else likes them. If you don't know who they are, they are a Progressive/Alternative Rock band. The dude who sings, plays guitar, and writes songs also writes comics and sets the albums in the story of the comics. Yup.. have been a fan for awhile. First found them when channel surfing on XMradio. Quite handy for finding cool new stuff to consider for purchase!

I'm on the same page as warlord; Just "Welcome Home". Only the instrumental. Maybe I'll look into them a bit more.

My brother and I first heard "A Favor House Atlantic" from the game "ATV Offroad Fury: Blazin' Trails." lol We were like "she sounds so hot!" We looked them up on Youtube and found a bunch of fat, sweaty guys and a dude with huge hair and were totally shocked. D: Years later, I've really gotten into them. I laughed when you guys said "only instrumental" for "Welcome Home." You must not like his voice, I understand. I've grown to like it, but my brother kinda hates it.

I laughed when you guys said "only instrumental" for "Welcome Home." You must not like his voice, I understand. I've grown to like it, but my brother kinda hates it. I tried getting into their music, but his voice is just a bit too much. Do you know what I mean? Like in Welcome Home, his voice sounded like he forced himself to hit high notes with a nasal voice. What's worse is when I heard the song for the first time. I had just downloaded songs that my friends recommended for me, and this one came up (he found it from the movie 9; remember that one LBPC?) The acoustic intro was amazing, and then the orchestra hit. I was blown away. As I turned up the volume to let my ears enjoy all the musical notes in the song, I began envisioning the movie 9 play out in front of me: the sack man getting ready to fight to the mechanical monster on a 1v1 fight to the death. The song, with its intense orchestral music, got the opponents ready for what appeared to be the most glorious of battles to ever be fought in mankind. Then YOU COUUUUULD HAVE BEEEEEEEN ALL THAT I WAAAAAAAANTEEEEEEEEED

Hahahaha, dude, I think that's why they aren't super popular. I mean, they're like, awesome musicians and I think alot of people would like them if he had a more "normal" voice. I actually like his voice though. :3 I showed my sister "A Favor House Atlantic" and she said if it were Fall Out Boy she would like it, but she didn't. lol
