Hey guys, been checking out these forums for a while, but I've only just joined them. This is a fantastic forum, i absolutely love the tutorials section, coz I've learnt so much. I would consider myself an average creator: I've made some levels that I'm really proud of, but i've never really been able to finish them, i just start projects then leave them when i get a new idea :roll eyes: I've published so far an FPS, which only has 20 plays, which is rather disappointing, a tutorial on making caves (i think I'm obsessed) and recently my newest level which is in my signature. It would be nice to get some help for getting my levels off the ground. Anyway, thanks for reading this! bluesteel789

Another very helpful area to check out is FAQ (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_faq#faq_vb3_board_usage) knowing these will help make your experience here more enjoyable. Be sure and post your levels in the Level Showcase section. Alot of us have the "create but not finish" or "create and not publish" syndrome.

Thanks, I've already read them so I'm good to go. Just wondering how i can post pictures in a level showcase? Do i take pictures in game then copy them from lbp.me?

I got this from one of bio's posts. He's good at explaining. 1. navigate to your LBP.me page 2. go to Photos, Ideally you would go to a picture that you have taken inside your level 3. click on the picture you want, then click it again so that it's the only thing on the screen 4. copy the URL that's in the address bar at the top of the window 5. come to your post and click on the "insert image" icon http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/LBPC-Style/editor/insertimage.png 6. paste the URL in the box that pops up and click "ok" 7. that's it, you're done. The Level Showcase (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?40-Level-Showcase) area is the place you want to go to make a thread about your level. We have an optional F4F (feedback for feedback) system where you tell others to check out your level, come back and give feedback/suggestions and you'll do the same for them. It's a valuable system that is underused here. Be sure to use the LBP.me tool (the white bell in a blue box icon) http://www.lbpcentral.com/images/lbpme.png this will pull your level info from LBP.me and place it in the thread for you. As for that explanation I would also add to myself that that is for users of Firefox and Chrome. If you use Internet Explorer, please navigate to google and type in "google chrome" and follow the instructions to download this browser. Then uninstall IE and continue with step 1. whoops! since our newest update, that has changed slightly. so the instructions are now 1. download and install Google Chrome 2. while ingame take a picture of the desired area/object 3. open popit, navigate to picture and choose "upload" 4. Go to your LBP.me page and click on "photos" find your pic 5. click the pic, click it again until it's the only thing on the screen 6. copy the address (URL) in the address bar at the top 7. come to your thread/post and click on the "insert image" icon (looks like a picture frame with a tree in it) 8. a box pops up, two tabs are available "from computer" and "from URL" 9. click "from URL" and past your URL in that box 10. UNCHECK the box that says " Retrieve remote file and reference locally" by doing this your image will be much bigger 11. click "OK" and now you are done.

Hey bluesteel. The inability to finish levels or even just publish them is one that many of us have. I've published 4 legitimate levels in as many years (well...in a long time anyway). Anyway, this is still a great place to get feedback in the showcase if you so choose. Have fun.
