Hey guys, I own LBP2 and a new PS3, (I used to own LBP1 and a PS3 but i sold it) so now I've lost all the materials from LBP1. Is it possible to download a complete LBP1 save file off the internet, put it on a USB stick and install it on my PS3, then use it on LBP2? And also, assuming this is possible, can you use use the backgrounds from LBP1 for new levels? (The snow background, for example, as I'd like to create a snow level)

LBP2 seems to be a bit picky when it comes to importing LBP1 saves that aren't yours. I've heard people say they could get a certain 100% save file to work while others did not. So all you can really do is experiment.

If you have PlayStation Plus, you could upload your LBP1 save to online storage then redownload it on your new PS3, that would probably work. However I wouldn't recommend getting PS Plus just to do that.
