I need to ace two more LBP2 story levels .... the final boss and "Where in the world is Avalon Centrifuge?" (spelling?) Every time I play I will die from something silly. LIke, I will accidentally let go of a grapple hook or something dumb like that. D: How do I survive these levels!!!!

I've yet to platinum either. I've aced everything but haven't collected all items. I know the feeling with trying to ace those. You play for so long trying to ace it, get almost to the end and do something stupid like run right off a cliff without jumping. Hang in there. You'll get it.

Same. I just kind of gave on getting all items. Sometimes, I'll go back and get 1 or 2, but I'll never get them all.

I have everything except the X4 areas. I still haven't gotten those X4 areas in LBP1, POTC DLC, or the Marvel pack

The final boss fight was a bit icky to ace but not impossible - my main challenge there was not being stupid. For example, I absolutely could not hit anything with that pastry in the 3rd round/phase of the fight. FAIL. I finally did get it though. The Avalon Centrifuge one you mention was my nemesis for a long, long time. It took me 3 days of just-one-more-try until I got sick of it and then all of a sudden bam, done, when I wasn't even really trying. I absolutely HATE the grabinator / laser turret section right after the level link. It always just felt too random to be truly fair. I think I must have replayed that level 50 or 100 times. It was a lot.

I haven't even attempted these levels in a while. The last time I attempted one of them was a few week ago and it was the Final boss level. I get to the second part of the level and I will miss a grab or let go to early leading to my death. I'M A LOSER!

Ahem... Achievements don't matter. They're cosmetic. They're like the little stickers you get on assignments that you did really well on. I'm pretty sure I don't have the Platinum since I haven't played Space Pool, and I will probably never play Space Pool because I don't like regular pool to begin with. Too many angles. Oh, well. Have fun grinding our your false existence!

The pin or trophy may not matter, but the prizes do. If you don't get every bubble, excel at all the single player mini games and ace all the levels, you don't have all resources for create mode available. Which kind of sucks.

I know they don't actually matter, none of this matters, it's just a video game. Trophies and pins is just to add goals and more challenges to keep playing. None of us have beaten LBP2 until all the pins (except the secret pins) and trophies have been completed!

I typed up a short little guide a long while ago HERE (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=47196-Finally-Aced-The-Cosmos-(And-Tons-of-Advice)) that might help you out a bit. All in all, those levels are pretty annoying to ace, but after acing them you get a couple of nifty items and finally the Platinum Pin. Honestly, I just wanted to get Platinum for the pin anyway

I know people have given extensively good advice already, but isn't it as simple as...don't let go of the grappling hook or something dumb like that? I do feel for you though, it's not always easy to do these. I especially hate when I'm down to the last couple of prizes to find or level to ace. The final one always seems hardest.

For those x4 areas it's really great to have an extra controller. Acing is something you'll have to do by yourself. Where in the world is avalon centrifuge is a real pain in the bottom, but i managed to ace it after twenty times (-:

I found that Diving In and just joining randoms for those multiplayer sections comes in handy. Also, the 10-in-a-row is really simple as long as you back up your profile after every ace. Just stick to Avalon, Factory, and Da Vinci levels, start with the hard ones first, and if you randomly die at any time, just upload your previous profile!

You can also "cheat" your way into acing. Basically, you have a friend ace the level, then you join right before they get to the scoreboard. That's how I got my friend the platinum. Or you could do the morally right way and do it yourself, which is kind of more fun.

I just gave up acing some of the levels. The point of the game is to have fun, not get trophies. I've got more than enough materials, I can make my own stickers, and the gameplay objects are 99% useless. The decorations I grabbed all of, same with music. If you do this, there's little reason to ace every level.

I haven't gotten the platinum either. I see no point in playing story mode, I play only for create mode and to play other people's levels, I don't care If I can ace story levels that were pretty boring to begin with. Especially Clive. I hated his levels.

I didn't find the actually story trophies that bad. Acing just takes practice. Google can help you find all the prize bubbles if you get stuck. It is the online ones which bother me. I have yet to get a platium in LBP1 due to the party person trophy which honestly I consider a redicolous trophy
