LittleBigParty [Competitive]

Introduction:
A level created for four player parties. There are 3 modes in total (more coming soon): shooter, race and survival.
Players will be able to select a game mode and map hrough a menu.

Shooter:
Similar gameplay to the LBP2 demo. Each of the four players gets an individual spawn point. There they can select a variety of weapons, including flamethrowers, rocket launchers, tasers (fire electricity) and more. After selecting a weapon they will be teleported randomly into the Arena. Score cap will be around 1000 [50 points per kill, -10 per death]
Points may be adjustable in the menu.

Race:
Quite simply, it's a race. There will be different maps, including underwater, volcano, power plant and a crystal cave. Each will have a variety of dangers, and a new way to play.

Survival:
Last man standing/First to the finish mode. Different maps will include a Sea Creature Level, Monster Level and Natural Hazard level. The Sea Creature Level will be like your standard Shark/Sea Monster level. During the monster level, you'll be continually chased by a variety of creatures, including Zombies [Fire], Robots [Plasma], and Man-Eating Plants [Electricity]. In the natural hazard level, you'll be continually thrashed by objects, crushers and bombs from the sky, and other hazards below.

Being a somewhat novice creator, I'll be looking for a variety of creators.


Someone who can make a menu.
Music Synthesizers
AI Creators
Map Makers
Testers, for the final product

Okay, well I mostly play afternoons on weekdays, and on weekends. You thinking for the shooter like natural maps, or more industrial/artificial? I'm good for both (:2012-05-10 20:50:00

Well I'm thinking of around 3-5 small arenas, one forest-like, one industrial, one techno (lights, neon etc.) Gotta think up some more.2012-05-10 21:13:00

Sounds good, will this be topdown, or just normal platformer. If its gonna be a plat former styled thing, i suggest low gravity, in that way there will be a lot more vertical movement, so the player will have to shoot up and down, not just left and right.2012-05-12 20:39:00
