WARNING! A very well known troll in LBP2 has repeatedly been inviting people and then given them a game-breaking glitch. I think it's called spawn cancer. He's got several accounts but his main one is tWiStEd_mInD_69_ http://lbp.me/u/tWiStEd_mInD_69_ Today I learned from several people in LBP one of them SasukeUchica that he got an invite from me: leklack and when he and his friends joined they got their profiles ruined by him. Apparently he's saying I'm thinking of adding a level of theirs in LittleBigPicks. Hahaha! I wish you had posted this sooner! Like and hour from now to be exact! I just got an invite from "you" and "hazbell". I joined them thinking it was you, (and I've met you before and you were really nice!) and they did some weird fire glitch thing to me (I'm guessing "spawn cancer"). I couldn't enter a level or drop when in create mode without bursting into flames! I thought it was hilarious tbh lol. But only because I enjoy self-deprecating humor XD Luckily I keep several back ups of my profiles, because this isn't the first time this happened to me. Some guy with PSN "steve_big_guns" joined me once and deleted my whole pod! But i knew it couldn't be the real steve because I have steve on my list and he was offline. So I knew it had to be a hacker, and that's when I learned to back up my profile everytime I do anything in LBP lol. But anyway, sorry to hear about this. I hope everyone who becomes a victim habitually backs up there profiles. Hackers can be dangerous, but also fun if you know how to protect yourself Edit: I just reported him.

Funny you mentioned it. I got a strange invite from spaff last week, but I accidentally ignored it. Now I'm glad I ignored it, because that could possibly be a scam. Thanks for the warning.

I'm lucky Grayspence warned me to look on Twitter! I was just about to join, then he told me what was going on. That's a pretty pathetic thing to do. I feel sorry for anyone who had been tricked by this person. I know LBPC has a no blacklisting policy but... This is pretty important, in my opinion. ​LETS BAN THIS FOO'!

I believe RASTAlite is the worst person on the LBP community. I hear about other trolls, but the one I'm having conflict with is RASTAlite. He's not just a troll, but he's stalking kids online too. He only stalks the kids who make costume levels.

Good to know, thanks for the heads up. Something I'm glad I already do is to not allow anyone to join who isn't on my friends list, or a friend of a friend I guess. Now I'm paranoid and will be doubly sure to lock down everything.

Thanks for the warning, since I'm the kind of player that wouldfreak out if even a remotely famous creator invited me, and I would be spamming that join button like there's no tomorrow. I'll be sure to think a bit clearer when "famous creators" invite me from now on.

OK I was wondering what was going on over at Twitter so decided to check out the proper warning here. I've not been on LBP this week but tend to back up my profile every month. So I think if anyone does not already do this, you should really get into a habit of doing it every month. Especially if you play LBP and create a lot. Also make a copy to a USB drive as a second back up. If you get a rogue or suspicious invite look at your in game friends list if that so called person is on your PSN list to make sure they are indeed online in LBP. Or do a search in the community to check their profile. If that so called person isn't online yet you're getting an invite from them on another then it's not them. Seems a lot to do but if in doubt, it's better to be safe and ignore it.

Make no mistake about it, this is not just a discomfort but goes straight against PSN rules. It'd make sense if Sony would ban this user, his secondary accounts and possibly the MAC address of his PS3 entirely.

There IS A WAY TO CURE this! but just to be sure, can you tell us how he does this to people? I just realy dont want to talk about a bug thats unrelated and can cause people to cheat in every single level. PM me or post in this thread, and i can PROBABLY help. in the mean time, dont join anyone who looks fishy to avoid posible problems

The interesting part here is that it's apparently possible to spoof LBP invites, maybe even PSN messages in general. If so, this is a major exploit. Is it known? How long has it been in the wild? Has it been reported?

For me this is no problem because in a matter of seconds I can get rid of SPC using a circuit board, danger tweaker, and overlord glitch LBP2 steps. Also it's fun doing it while the person trolling you is there so they get all confused! xD There IS A WAY TO CURE this! but just to be sure, can you tell us how he does this to people? What mindset does it take to think "Oh noez, I'm on fire...
