I met some kid a while ago, and he had what looked like a Venom (Spiderman) costume. It had an electric field all around it, so when I got close to him, I died. I tried going to an empty level, adding a costume to a sackbot, adding hazards, but it wouldn't let me save the costume. Any help?

Did you meet the guy in create mode? Since in this case he could've been controlling a hazard sackbot. If you met him in play mode then it's a wierd glitch or a trick I never heard of.

It sounds like the leathal-Glitch, you can find Vids on youtube etc. how to make it. Don't use this Glitch if you don't have an actual Backup! It is a pain to get rid of it if you don't have a Backup (a friend of mine got an invitetaion and this guy placed this bug on him and tried to blackmail him into giving his Account Passwords and stuff out )
