Who do you want to see in All-Stars Battle Royale?

| Ok, so if you didn't know, Sony are working on a new game in which our favourite Playstation characters battle against each other, very similar to the Smash Bros series on Nintendo platforms. I'll start the ball rolling: Sackboy (duh) http://www.girlsngadgets.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/sackboy.jpg From: LittleBigPlanet Why I want them: Kinda obvious really. Why would I join a LBP community site if I didn't love Sackboy? What powers they would have: The power-ups from the LBP games. For example, flying with the jetpack, grabbing people with grappling hook and throwing them with the grabinators. Likelihood that they're in the game: Very high, there has already been a LBP stage announced (althuogh Buzz shows up in it for some reason, not to happy about that) so adding Sackboy is almost certain. Apart from that, he has become one of Sony's most iconic mascots. Ratchet http://images.wikia.com/ratchet/images/6/67/RatchetUpYourArsenal.png From: Ratchet & Clank Why I want them: Ratchet & Clank 3 on the PS2 is what got me into gaming. I've played every single game in the series since then (apart from the PSP ones, never had a PSP). What powers they would have: His large arsenal from the games. Personally I would like to see the RYNO V (with backing music) and the Agents of Doom (from way back in R&C3). Also he'd have his trusty omniwrench for close quarters situations. Likelihood that they're in the game: Pretty high, R&C is a large (4 PS2 games, 2 PSP games and 4 PS3 games, I think) series exclusive to the Playstation. Clank http://en.ratchet-galaxy.com/images/rac3/personnages/Clank.png From: Ratchet & Clank Why I want them: Not really sure why, but I've always preferred Ratchet's mechanical sidekick to the Lombax hero. What powers they would have: Not to sure to be honest. Maybe he could have the ability to become Secret Agent Clank and go all ninja on everyone? Oh an obviously he would have to have the infamous Banana Gun from R&C3. Likelihood that they're in the game: If Ratchet is in the game, Clank will be too. I personally hope that Clank is a separate character and doesn't just ride on Ratchet's back. Captain Qwark http://images.wikia.com/ratchet/images/c/cb/Qwark2.png From: Ratchet & Clank Why I want them: He's the funniest person in the gaming universe, apart from maybe Wheatley in Portal 2, and he's a robot so he doesn't count anyway. What powers they would have: Again I'm not really sure. I guess he wouldn't really do much at all then take all the glory at the end. Likelihood that they're in the game: Not that good, although he is the third biggest character in the series, I don't have much hope for the Galactic President making the roster. What powers they would have: His Ampe (an electric sword thingy) and his elcectrical powers like the shock grenades. It would also be a nice touch to be able to pick good or bad Cole which would slightly affect his powers but would mostly be an aesthetic variation (good Cole has blue electricity and bad Cole has red). Likelihood that they're in the game: I saw him on a poster for the game somewhere on the internet so unless it was a fake he's definietly in. War http://officialpsds.com/images/thumbs/War-Darksiders-PS3360-psd39191.png From: Darksiders Why I want them: He is one of the riders of the apocalypse, 'nuff said. What powers they would have: The three weapons (Chaoseater (sword), Harvester (scythe) and Tremor Gauntlet (big boxing glove thing)), the rage moves and the ability to ride Ruin (his horse). Likelihood that they're in the game: Pretty low, Darksiders wasn't a hugely successful game (though they are working on a sequel) so Sony will probably not choose to include him. Though I do recommend Darksiders extremely highly to anyone that hasn't played it. The Knights http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/8/87209/1499927-cc_char1_super.png From: Castle Crashers Why I want them: Castle Crashers is a fun little arcade game. The style of fighting (a combination of button mashing with a bit of magical powers) would port over very easily. Plus they look pretty awesome. What powers they would have: They would play very similarily to how they did in their game, blast the enemy with your magic then rush in with your sword combos. It would be cool if we could play with all four knights at once, like the Ice Climbers in Smash Bros, and each had a different weapon as well as their different elemental powers. Likelihood that they're in the game: Small, Castle Crashers was originally owned by Microsoft and was ported over to the PS3 a few years later. I think the original Spyro on the PS1 might have been the first game I ever played. What powers they would have: Well he's a dragon, so it's pretty obvious that he'll breathe fire and fly. Likelihood that they're in the game: Good, although he's appeared across multiple platforms over the years, Spyro's roots lie in the Playstation and I'm confident he'll make it into the game. Crash Bandicoot http://images.wikia.com/simpsons/images/6/63/CrashBandicoot.jpg From: Crash Bandicoot Why I want them: I'm not really sure why I like Crash, I didn't really play his games that much, I just think he's pretty awesome. What powers they would have: His trademark spin thingy and the ability to use Aku Aku as a shield. Oh and also something to do with Wumpa fruit, not sure what, but Wumpa is a cool word. Likelihood that they're in the game: The exact same as Spyro. Wow that took a long time. Thanks for reading! | I'd like to see emet graves from starhawk. Sure I doubt He'd ever become a playstation icon, but having the ability to build walls or towers or whatever would make the character feel really unique. summoning a hawk to fly in and attack people might also be pretty cool. | The original versions of Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot and Lara Croft, Solid Snake and characters from Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts. We all know All Stars was a advertising game for newer or not so popular games so hopefully this gets through to someone. Every game is popular from their own perspective. Also you probably don't want to bump old threads...especially if the last post was over a year old.
