Mystery item used in MGS pack

http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=200&pictureid=1604 What is this? It can be found in a few places the MGS levels. My best guess is some sort of environmental effects switch, since the lighting and background do seem to change during the MGS pack. Does anyone know for sure? Does anyone know how it can be used in your own creations? I've aced/100% completed the MGS pack and I haven't found it in my pop-it yet. | 2009-01-03 15:07:00 Author: Risen Posts: 251 |
Its like a global settings switch I believe. Can change level settings that you would normally set when creating the level. I dont think its available for creator use yet. | 2009-01-03 15:09:00 Author: rz22g Posts: 340 |
What Kratos said. There have been multiple threads on this topic though, so this one will probably get locked. I'll give you a link to one in a second... *edit* Here (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=6405) you go | 2009-01-03 15:10:00 Author: Unknown User |
Nor do I but I agree with U, IMO it is an enviromental effect control switch, I noticed that the light changes from night to day in act 3 the mission. Why MM didn't provide us also that switch since we payed for the mgs expansion? IMO the paintinator is useless in a non war-theme level... | 2009-01-03 15:12:00 Author: Miglioshin Posts: 336 |

I think they're still working out the kinks, just like the "require all" option on sensors. There are probably a few bugs they need to iron out, then they'll give it to us. I wonder how they will though... Like, will they just appear in your Pop-It or would you have to download it? Dear God, I hope for MM's sake that they don't make us pay for it. The amount of abuse they'll recieve... *shudders* | 2009-01-03 15:15:00 Author: Unknown User |
*edit* Here (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=6405) you go Oh, thanks... A quick search didn't turn up anything but I guess I just searched for the wrong words. | 2009-01-03 19:35:00 Author: Risen Posts: 251 |
Heh, I don't think you did... I couldn't find it through search either, but I remembered the username of the person who made the thread | 2009-01-03 19:37:00 Author: Unknown User |
I swear it was a decoration? But then again, it looks very similar to the sensor switch, with the prongs on the side and all.. | 2009-01-03 19:42:00 Author: DrunkMiffy Posts: 2758 |
Global settings change? That sounds cool. So you could have a level that gradually gets darker, lighter, foggier etc? That's pretty sweet. | 2009-01-03 20:03:00 Author: UmJammerSully Posts: 1097 |
I swear it was a decoration? But then again, it looks very similar to the sensor switch, with the prongs on the side and all.. Remember Act 5? When you destroy the level machine? How do you think it went from dark to light? There are multiple occasions where they do this, but that's probably the most drastic change in lighting that they used... Well, it certainly seemed like it. | 2009-01-03 20:10:00 Author: Unknown User |
