What if LBPC was an RPG?

Archive: 146 posts

Hey guys! I just had this fun idea about making a chart about LBPC being an RPG. Usually my friends and I discuss things like this (i.e. what if we were in a zombie survival game) and we would try to match everybody in our town with what role they'll play in the game. So, I'm curious now as to what roles we'd play in an RPG. Here's a few that I came up with:

Current version:

http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/8206/lbpcrpg.png

4/42/12

http://img192.imageshack.us/img192/8206/lbpcrpg.png

This isn't supposed to make yourself look like a glorified hero, or the exact opposite of it; the whole point is to describe the member as best as we can while staying with the whole fantasy RPG theme. I've gotten the majority of the mods so far, and I threw in a few other roles in there to, but it still needs work.

Your thoughts so far?

... Then it would be awesome.

@GDN-: DO ET, you're good at mapping stuff. I saw on DA. :3

Maybe later when (and if) we go into detail. Right now we're assigning roles. I may also make sprites just for the sheer fun of it.

RPG?!

Oh wait, this seems like more of a Western style Tolkein-esque RPG. Dayum ;-;

Eh, I would say I'd be some evil warlord guy, but I haven't been that guy in a while. Plus we got a warlord evil guy. Fracking poser >_>

I would make a peanut joke, but I haven't been about peanuts in a LONG time.

In fact, I haven't been around here in a while. I mostly just lurk, lost in my old dreams. Huh.

Oh well.

Wait, playable? I thought this was concept.

Are we actually making RPG?

It was a joke, but listen... Between you and me...

I'm taking a look at some U3 Engine videos and am becoming interesting in downloading it and fiddling with it... So there's a remote chance that I'll make some concepts for it and a very unlikely possibility of making something playable. That depends on how well I get on with it.

Eh, anyway. Three and a half years ago (****, it's been THAT long?) I tried to make an LBPC RPG in RPG Maker. It went nowhere. The End.

RPG?

... Ok, find, I'll stop. <_>

If you're looking for more roles we could have:

Lawyers
Policemen
Police Chief
Carpenter
Soldiers
Farmers

You could put me as the doctor, following your summary model:
The town's rationally thinking doctor. Offers help to those in need and researches new forms of medication.

Alright, just don't expect to be able to make anything resembling an RPG in a real engine like UE3 any time soon.

... Moving on, unless someone else wants to talk about making an RPG with me for some reason...

... Ok, o, um, yeah. I unno. My dream of making an RPG will never die. 8D

Ew... an RPG on Unreal Engine. RPG Maker may be inferior in terms of game making in general, but RPGs are way better on RPG Maker simply because it was built for them.

You missed the point: we're assigning roles based on your characteristics and sometimes your avatar. I'm known for making different styles of levels but I act a bit d---ish at times, hence the Mad Scientist title. Lady_Luck_777 has a unicorn as an avatar and she mods heavily, so I gave her the royal steed with great agility role. If anything, you're more of a war general because of, well:

• warfare levels
• love of FPSs
• you own my *** online ;_;

How about Captain of a certain squad, presumably a special 'portable' squad?

The Introduce Yourselves forum is like a low-level monster area where people go to grind.

Obviously, you haven't been at the PSP section. We're notorious for being isolated from the rest of the site, thus we can get away with most things unnoticed.

Ex:

Here's a funny video that has nothing to do with the thread and it contains violence, language, and extremely graphic scenes of horror and whatnot.

Guaranteed 'Thanks!'

Almost every post there gets thanked, and it's somehow developed into a habit instead of a grinding method. But I don't mind; the XP system in this site is pointless anyways.

IF we are making a game out of this, can I just say that you should use RGP Maker. Seriously, Unreal Engine? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY?

Craigmond, the brave, valiant knight and protector against evil! Jot that down, neow.

Way to abide by the rule of 'not glorying yourself'.

Also, I have no idea what to assign Ayneh. She's so... I don't know. I don't really know her and, to be honest, she acts like a female version of me: stubborn, a bit of an *** at times, and sometimes has good points. Only thing different is her (what I assume to be an) addiction to anime and the Japanese culture. ._.

I can't come up with anything to be honest other than just a regular citizen. Thoughts? Speculation? Unreal Engine (why)?

I think you should change CC to "Last of the 3 Kings" due to there being 3 admins of which only CC remains..

Spaff, Johnee, StevenI etc should be the gods who rule this realm

Ayneh could be a royal advisor considering she cuts to the core of the problem pretty swiftly.

And I don't mean to toot my own horn but BRAAAAAAAAAAP

It's a joke, but apparently people are interested in seeing this as a game, so we're discussing about that now.

I think you should change CC to "Last of the 3 Kings" due to there being 3 admins of which only CC remains..

I know there were ex-admins here. If I was going to follow that logic then I would have added all the ex-mods in here as well. I'm using present time events to assign roles. Lore of them can be made: i.e. rtm would be in another land called Tarsier, but his lore would be 'he was once a white-knight but left to pursue another position' and so on.

Spaff, Johnee, StevenI etc should be the gods who rule this realm

Yes... that would be awesome.

Ayneh could be a royal advisor considering she cuts to the core of the problem pretty swiftly.

Understandable. I haven't actually seen her a lot until recently, so I trust that you know what you're talking about.

EDIT: Nope. Thought about it, and I think advisers are best left for mods and site staff. Maybe she's a town counsel woman or a psychiatrist?

And I don't mean to toot my own horn but BRAAAAAAAAAAP

Magical Rainbow Spewing Poptart Cats confirmed for RPG material!

Looks nasty, IMO. I like 2D RPGs like Chrono Trigger; 3D RPGs are hard to get into and are rarely done right like Dark Souls.

I think having temples around the land devoted to the different "gods" mentioned above, like spaff and steveni, such as in skyrim, would be cool. Maybe even you could activate the blessing each gives, but only have one at a time. Again like skyrim.

Also, Im not bad at spriting. I havent done it in a while, but if you give me something to try, we can both see how suitable I am. Assuming were talking about like pokemon-sized sprites.

So, the game itself would be 2D-ish. Well, I want to try U3 anyway, so I will make some concepts in it which can be translated to the lowlier RPG-Maker.

As for the map, I have been thinking... Four provinces, each with its signature style and people:

- Tundra province: Higher altitude than the others, located on the center of the map, is where the central city (Carthago?) is located. Buildings have traditional appearance. Its inhabitants are the main cast of LBPC. (Cartman, CyberSora, gdn001, Warlord_Evil...)
- Jungle province: North of the map. Plains filled with lush jungles and cut by many rivers. Its capitol city is more "paradise-esque", with marble walls and beautiful structures. Its inhabitants are the friendlier people of LBPC. (Sackgirlsrule, DizzyZebra, Plasmavore, nysudyrgh...)
- Desert province: Southwest. Mountainous desert with egyptian-styled villages. Its inhabitants are the more "underground" members of LBPC. (Toortle, Outlaw-Jack, TheZimInvader, ShadowCrazy...)
- Mountains (or rock) province: Southeast. Region filled with mountains and almost no vegetation. There are a few villages scattered between the mountains, and at the tallest mountain, Rock's Lair can be seen from almost all the continent. Its inhabitants are Lord RockSauron, and the banned/wicked of LBPC (Hybrid, Inanimacy...)

Never said you shouldn't try it. Just saying that an RPG in Unity sounds a bit skeptical, so I'm interested to see how it plays out.

Neat-O. Only one problem: RPG Maker doesn't allow you to gain stat boosts from entities like in Skyrim. Stat boosts come from items, so I guess you can visit a temple and get an item by completing a quest for them or something.

Oh God, now I'm talking about making this game!

Sounds like fun.

I'm up for making a 2D RPG. 3D RPGs seem a tad boring for my taste, and 2D RPGs motivate developers to focus on story and gameplay more.

Also 3D RPGs are just a logical impossibility for a bunch of nobodies with no experience. A 2D RPG is at least possible

Anyway, I agree that I shouldn't be THE team leader. I just can't lead people. Putting me in charge of people tends to lead to a monthly meltdown, as happened back during the old project. I'm ok with being creative lead, but putting me in a position where I have to understand people? D:

Also, LBPC. RPG. Why WOULDN'T I jump on it?

Ah well, so. Should we continue discussion in here and generalities, or should we go private already, or what?

Also, I would like the game to feature a main overarching story separated into its own self contained chapters.

Nice! I never wanted a 'leader'. Sure, it helps to have someone in charge, but to assign people certain jobs and being bossy always turned me down. I was always more of a 'everybody is their own boss' sort of guy, just as long we can get something done; if not, I try bring team moral up.

Ah well, so. Should we continue discussion in here and generalities, or should we go private already, or what?

Public. There's no point in making this private since we don't even have a team yet. Plus, I'd like to have LBPCentral's members help us; a team of several people doesn't get much done and doesn't really represent the whole site as a whole.

Also, I would like the game to feature a main overarching story separated into its own self contained chapters.

Lucky for you, I'm a quick thinker when it comes to storytelling.

The game revolves around a boy who joins the site. It's nighttime, and he just finished posting in the Introduce Yourself forum. Somebody replies "Welcome to LBPC. We hope you get to enjoy this place and its people. We'd love to help new users on their journey to stardom ans Spotlights!" The boy doesn't know exactly what journey means, but he guesses it's a figure of speech and goes to bed after shutting down his computer. What he doesn't know is he is in fact going on a journey....

He wakes up in a land of imagination and wonder. As it turns out, the 'journey' was him becoming part of the community, which meant 'visiting' the land of LBPC. There, he meets the members, the creations, and experiences LBPC's history. The game is based on his adventures, the inevitable wars (Panda Wars?), and eventually his rise to stardom (Spotlight).

Game ends when he wakes up, finding out it was all just a dream. It's a snow day, so he decides to use his computer; the guy from last night messages him saying 'We hope you had fun on your journey. Have fun mingling with our community!" /mindf---ingending.jpg.png

EDIT: HOLY CRAP! 3 PAGES? Why does every project I start/participate in always get so much hype? Every time it does I can't keep up with the ideas and comments, and when it's time to go to work there's ALWAYS problem. ;_;

Luckily, I am a REAL storyman! ... Yeah!

... Ok, so, ideas for areas:

Begin in Intro forums. Governed by Ladyluck. Gardens-esque world.

Evil Land controlled by warlord evil, but was once ruled by the RAWK (aka me). After a bloody war between my forces and CC, the evil warlord was supplanted by warlord evil and now I bide my time. My time, of course, being in the game, and I try to take over the domain once more for epic fun times.

Can go into the Admin CP/ servers where Aya is doing codey stuff.

FORUM GAMES WILDERNESS! YEAH! With MINIGAMES! And snow.

It's a neat idea, and if you guys really do decide to go through with it, then best of luck . ^^

Sadly, I don't have much exprience yet with game development, even though it's a passion I still hold onto. Maybe after attending some texturing and game developing classes I've got planned for the Summer, I can be of use, but I'd still be simply a beginner of course. xP

If you guys really are going to make an official LBPC RPG, just make sure how you'll handle guest appearances before an announcement, otherwise you might have to brace for a tsunami of members asking to be in it.

Holy long posts batman! I just did more reading now than I did for literature class last month. Since its 2D, how are we going to style it? Like first Legend of Zelda, or maybe Zelda II? Excuse my seemingly zelda-ness, but those are the best examples I could think of.

Also, if were serious about this, I think we should have a forum for it. Like one of those cheap ones thats like, yourname.theirname.com

Yes, people on LBPC would be characters. As of now though though we aren't considering stuff like that. We need to focus on the basics. So basically, if you're just saying you want to be a random guy in the game don't bother right now,w e need to focus on the actual core before we populate it with misc characters.2012-04-25 17:31:00

Were you not here when LBPC got hacked?

I am always here. ALWAYS.

Anyway, final boss is Rabid Coot. No reason.

Anyway, we could have something about code infecting the server for one reason or another and you must stop the plight.

Or have the plot not be anything maor and instead just have it so that you're gathering up rep for your ultimate plan to KILL MUFASA.

So many posting.

Well if it at involves 2D sprites as suggested before, I might be able to help. But if you plan on making a 1000km? 3D world, then Im out.
We can scale down the map, most of it would be wilderness anyway. Or we could leave it to scale but exclude all the "not-interesting" areas from gameplay.

Anyway, is this RPG going to be in a medieval setting or more modern one? Because I have the basic layout of the map and I'm thinking of first drawing it as a simple medieval-esque map.

Well surly you dont expect me to be able to whip something up in a few hours with no prior warning. Ill have something done by the end of the week though.
Anyway, I think later we can have people talk about stuff like characters in the game, right now we need to focus on the core stuff. Someone like cyber or rawk or gdn should make a public group for this, that way all this stuff isnt jumbled together mixed with posts from random people weve never seen asking to be some random dude in the game.

The reticent Confused Cartman, the last of the Three Kings, resides with his four White Knights in the perfectly ordered but lifeless kingdom of Site Stuff. These few people from their lofty towers shape the lives of all world's residents, often without their knowledge.

Above, in the heavens there are Three Gods: Spaff, Johnee and StevenI. In ancient texts it is purported that the Three Gods and Three Kings together created the world known as LBPC that the users now inhabit, but it is shrouded in mystery.

A number of users believed the kingdom of LittleBigPlanet for PSP was a barren desert, incapable of supporting life, but travellers speak of a enclave of immensely powerful and influential users who have in their isolation buffed their Rep to insane levels. They plan to challenge the Gods themselves.

The heads of the other kingdoms, alarmed at this hereto unknown threat have sent armed expeditions in the PSP realm yet none have returned alive. It wasn't long until this unsettling news circulated amongst the residents of the modern cosmopolitan heart of LBPC, the city of Everything Else LittleBigPlanet 2, but the news was soon swamped by whining about Cool Pages.

A brave band of travellers join together in an attempt to alert the world to this new menace. Can the White Knight mods be woken from their slumber? Can the old and jaded users of General Stuff be reasoned with? The answer will change the world of LBPC forever.

Because he has a small dedicated active fan base?

More me and my love of RPGs. RPGs!

I think he was talking about my previous projects. I tend to get spammed by comments when I make ARGs (Kindred) or other community projects (Awards Show, LBPC Cards, this) in a short amount of time, and once in a while my levels. Although, I have to admit: majority of my projects are a pain in the *** and end up having more mistakes than progress.

Artist. Sounds good to me.

PSP Unit, a high level 'terrorist' group that's working for the evil guy? Add in a few plot twists, like maybe they double-cross the baddie(s), and we got a hit!

Indeed, that sounds good to me. I'm sure you PSPers could decide what is in PSPland.

I'm thinking a bizarre fantasy type thing that doesn't take itself too seriously.

So hi tech in the server backbone, some medieval stuff, some modern stuff. Can't have it take itself too seriously, now can we?

Actually, I was hoping you would say that. I king of seen this as a parody game instead of a serious one, so we can make something work.

Um, ok, I'll make a group, but I warn you: my organizational skills are nonexistant. Particularity when it comes to people. So yeah. Anyway... Um, my, Cyber, gdn and ATMLive are the ones currently interested in working on this seriously, right? Wait, WHAT? Dude, now you are high-jacking my thread. Can't I at least figure out what we're doing here first? No offense, but you're just taking too much control here. I already said we should use this thread in the mean time to see who would be willing to help and pitch ideas. Besides, I hate Groups; almost every project I've been in that involves a group gets no work done or is seldom checked.

Well, I spent about 10 minutes making this tree using a blend of paint.net and photoshop, since Im new to photoshop. That's really good, considering we haven't even started yet. Also, in case you want to make more transparent sprites next time (which we need):

- make a duplicate layer
- delete the 'background' of the duplicate layer and leave only the sprite
- delete the original layer

It's a shortcut I use when making transparent things since I wasn't really taught how to use Photoshop (and I don't have time to watch hour long tutorials). I hope that helps.

I have no idea what you're talking about, but it sounds interesting. Also, I looked into RPG Maker VX Ace (long name), and it seems like the ideal program to use. I'll be willing to buy it, but ONLY if we're able to come up with a story, a few intro dialogues, and a simple map of the first area so we know what we're dealing with. I don't want to repeat past mistakes again (you should be familiar with this, Rock, since you ran a few projects yourself) .

Basically, some guy once proposed a thing where people played fire emblem thing. No, wait, this was from Marino's World domination thing. Eh.

Anyway, yeah, Cyber, that sounds good. the problem is that I actually downloaded the demo of that but didn't use it but it just ran out so I need to buy it to use it at all again. So yeah. :/ And, of course, we must all let it be known it is 90 dollars to all people who should want to help.

But yeah. WE need a good plan before we consider that.

So, first we need to decide on the basic premise. Namely, the main conflict.

So, main villain? Some sort of "plague" infecting the servers? CC? ME? Or something stupid?

I'm thinking some infections infecting the server of some kind, and you need to go around uninfecting it and then you can travel around the servers in magical funtime land.

http://seanrintel.files.wordpress.com/2011/09/sooncomputer.png?w=640

The two main races of LBPC are at a stake. The consoalers (smarter) and the portaeblers (stronger) have been showing signs of hostility recently. Meanwhile, a group of adventurers make an astonishing discovery at the ancient ruins of the original LBP. They discover a prophecy about how the gods, lead by Spaff, would lead both races to destruct themselves to open space to a new, more advanced race, called vitae. The adventurers attempt to convince the two high kings about the prophecy, but they are treated like crazy people. Almost losing all hope, they get captured by a secret group named "The Extenders", who were researching into the vitae and searching for a way to stop them from taking over. While the group goes to ruins to find answers, the situation worsens as one of the Moderators gets murdered by a fanatic, causing the war to go off. As the two races fend off themselves, the adventurers find how to stop the vitae from taking over the world. They return only to get caught in the middle of the war. With no one else to go to, they retreat to Mount Peanut, where the now retired Lord Rocksauron lives. They manage to convince the retired evil lord to aid them in their quest, seeing as his domains would suffer from the prophecy too. The adventurers fight alongside Rock's minions until they reach the Central City, where the two high kings are fighting. They manage to stop them just as they were about to kill each other and give proof of the prophecy. Just as things seemed to get better, the vitae army appears at the horizon, ready to take over their world. The adventurers reveal the secret to dominating them: Joining forces and fighting them. They battle until every man is down. In the end, Spaff descends from the skies, and reveals that it was just a trial all along, a trial which objective was to elevate both races to a greater level, the vitae level. Da end.

I wouldn't worry too much about the "Vitae". It's not selling very well

Well, interesting concept, though I'm not sure of the likelihood of the Vita surpassing the PS3 version. PSP, yeah, but don't think the PS3.

Plus from what I see it's a bit too serious for my tastes

I had an idea for a previous level but I scrapped it because I sux at the logics.

Anyway.
After you defeat the Negativatron radioactive dust is littered all over the imagispere and it is the job of the LBPC community to clean up the mess!

Yeah its just a short draft but whatevs.

EDIT: I did modify the idea slightly though.

So, would there even be enough people around here to even want to play an LBPC RPG? Would people be more willing to play something that isn't as specific as a relatively small forum?

I mean, I'd gladly do this and have fun, but I'm wondering if perhaps people would prefer something not based entirely off LBPC and more original. :/

That would make sense. That way, the games not so restricted, and its more interesting.

Well then, I guess my OP pic is useless then? Good, because I'm finding it difficult making a story based on LBPC other than "Teh Legand of Reel Waturdz".

I don't see why you should simply discard the characters. Just make them look and feel a bit more "general", and voil?, you have characters that anybody could love and retain the references.

If you think we should not do an LBPC RPG.

Ok, so, if we were to make an RPG, would you rather it be LBPC or an original one, and would you work on either?

Personally, I haven't been on here in a while so I can't really make an accurate portrayal of current LBPC, plus it'd drastically limit our potential playerbase and we'd be swamped with people trying to say what they want to be and all that. It might be best to try to make something where we aren't chained to the forum... But, of course, I must know what YOU think. Yes, YOU. <3

But once I'm less busy I'd definitely be up for working on this in some capacity. It'd be nice to be involved in an LBPC project that actually goes somewhere for once

You wanna come up with a story for the RPG, and you haven't even told me about this? ~_^

We don't have to base the story off of current affairs. Now these days, stuff that happens on LBPC just isn't as interesting as what happened about a year or two ago. If you wanna make an RPG off of LBPC, you have to remember the core aspect of the community: its members. So, rather than basing it off of LBPC entirely, we can use the personalities and characters of various members and have different elements inspired by LBPC, like I did in the comic project I was involved in for the longest time. Here's my idea for a story:

Over several years, the continents of CraftEarth have been increasingly populated by players, to the point that many have began to settle and create vast countries and kingdoms. The Central Kingdom is CraftEarth's largest country, occupying vast swaths of land and boasting several cities and regions. It is ruled by Admin ConfusedCartman, the 3rd and longest-serving monarch thus far in the kingdom's history. Though retaining supreme authority, he leaves state and regional affairs, outside of the capitol region of Modania, up to his self-appointed Moderators. The Moderators act as governors to their region/city, though some wield more power than others. Each region and city has their own share of important individuals and groups, some known for good acts while others do more nefarious deeds. You, the player, are a traveler, and have entered the vast kingdom of Central. Many adventures await, and so do various dangers and opportunities. But ultimately, its up to you on what you do, forging your own path in this vast, exciting kingdom of possibilities.

Here's some ideas for regions/cities:

Modania- Moderator: ConfusedCartman, Capitol: Modania

Capitol of the kingdom, and the seat of Central's royalty. This city-state is rather safe in comparison to the rest of the kingdom, as the mighty gauntlet of Cartman and the Royal Guard who patrol the busy streets keep strict and disciplinary order. For the most part, the citizens of Modania obey authority; however, rebellious individuals have caused a ruckus in the city years past and have since been banned to various other regions. Thus in recent times, Modania has played as the center of social and political reform in the land. Law-abiding citizens and powerful authority figures, such as Sir Clayton, Whaaaaale, and the SpookyBuzz family, reside in this vast city. The Administrator's Palace, as well as Moderator Abbey and the Temple of Rules reside here.

The Wilderness- Moderator: warlord_bob (though overshadowed by RockSauron/ The Wilderness Alliance), Capitol: n/a

Long since a desolate wasteland where the kingdom's worst offenders were sent to dwell, the Wilderness has grown in population and has started to form small towns. Rich in resources and relatively large in size, it has forever remained a wild frontier where only the toughest dared to stay. Peanut Lord RockSauron, a self-proclaimed demigod of all things peanut-related, has declared claim to the region, and has since waged a fierce war against the sparse residences who dare resist his power. Such individuals, like Outlaw-Jack and gdn001, have played as important figures to challenge of the Peanut Lord's authority, swearing loyalty to a rag-tag group called the Wilderness Alliance. Others however, like SLS10 and Rabid-Coot, have sworn loyalty to Rock and are faithful servants to the cause. warlord_bob, one of Cartman's toughest mods, has been dispatched to the area, along with a handful of Cartman's elite regiment, in order to quell this firefight before it got worse. Unfortunately, they too have been absorbed into the battle, as the War in The Wilderness has turned into a three-sided confrontation. Mount Peanut, the dormant volcanic peak within the Divinding Range where Rock's Castle is based, looms over the expansive Banneville Flats, home to Gamestown and Chatson, among others.

Generalta- Moderator: schm0, Capitol: Showcase

The largest region in the Central Kingdom, this land-locked state occupies the majority of the mainland, serving as both the economical and geographical center of the country. Moderator schm0, a former coal miner with a no-nonsense attitude, maintains the region with the help of the Forum Army, the largest military unit serving the monarchy. Its vast plains and rolling hills serve as ground zero for many a project, as Generalta serves as the showroom for all creations and levels formed by people from all around CraftEarth. Due to the volatile nature of the central region, most settlements have been established on the outer edges of the state, sparsely populating the countryside so as to not intrude on CraftEarth's most cherished past-time of publishing. Powerful businessmen such as poms and gevurah22 have made permanent residence near the chaotic center. The capitol of Showcase, located at the heart of Generalta, is home to The Showroom, the largest convention center in all of CraftEarth, which plays host to countless conferences and groundbreaking reveals.

Isle of Create- Moderator: Morgana25, Capitol: Arte

A small island off the coast of Generalta, the Isle of Create has served as the creative and imaginative center of the Central Kigndom. Under the watchful guidance of the mystic-mod Morgana25, and the Council of Creativity, the island nation has for many years prospered and produced ingenious and brilliant ideas that have changed the face of CraftEarth as we know it. Vulnerable to pandemics such as "artist's block", this region is constantly under high-alert and is always in danger of being overrun due to a lack of an organized militia. Many times in the past, the nomadic Trolls have raided the isle, destroying precious ideas and stealing national treasures. Today, the Trolls have since adopted a mafia-styled format and operate under the Cult of Inanimacy, an order forever loyal to their leader-in-exile Inanimacy. Such individuals like TheZimInvader, jump_button and >er originate from the Isle of Create, but are constantly on the move due to their creative itches. Arte, an old establishment dating back to before the founding of the kingdom, is home to the Creatatorium, the University of Ideas, and the Cathedral of the Holy BoxGhost.

Logicsticstan- Moderator: Aya042/ (unofficially) rtm223/ (unoficially) comphermc, Capitol: Technopolis

An entire region created by the crafty individuals rtm223 and comphermc (in a one-time agreement), Logicsticstan extends off the northern edge of Generalta, acting as a land-bridge to the neighboring country of Planetorium. Built from the ground up by pure logic, this artificial region serves as the technoligical hub of the kingdom, where many individuals go to learn and educate themselves in the realm of technology and engineering. Due to the constant feuding between the original founders, Cartman appointed Aya042 to stand guard over the new region, and to monitor Rtm and Comph. However, despite Aya's capability and the Logistical Bureau, the everlasting influence of the state's co-creators still leaves the region divided, with both the Piston and Winch factions taking respective sides. Certain "logicians" like Sehven and jwwphotos stand prominent among the highly-competitive community. Technopolis, the crown jewel and pinnacle of all things logic, serves as a battleground as both sides wage a war of influence and superiority. Both the headquarters for Roller INC and The Subterranean Co. reside in Technopolis, as well as The Intelligenceon and Pi Square.

Welcome- Moderator: LadyLuck_777/ RickRock_777, Capitol: Intro

Located in The Tutors mountain range, Welcome is a peaceful region centralized around the Thanks River, where it is said that the founder of the Central Kingdom, lbp, first set foot. A neutral region, Welcome has not seen any wars since the beginning of the kingdom, and has long since served as a meeting place for celebrations, truces, and all things peace-related. Locals LadyLuck and RickRock, a long-standing couple that ruled over the town of Help, were nominated by the King himself to maintain the peace of this already-tranquil state. Most of the small population resides in the Thanks River Valley, with the capitol of Intro residing next to the large resource of the river: Glacier XP. It is here that you'll find the grand halls of Castle Noobenschwanstein, where many a political summit is held. You'll also find the LBP Memorial and the Temple of Help within city walls.

-----------------

That's all I can come up with right now.

Not making an LBPC RPG would defeat the point of an LBPC RPG. But we could make another RPG.

Course, we'd need to make sure that people are interested enough in said concept to make said thing.

Anyway, Outlaw, all that stuff is cool and all, yo.

I'd just like to change the plot of the Wilderness area to a civil war between CC's mod, warlrod evil, fighting against my forces for control of the region.

Well, someone I was working on an RPG a while back with but canceled the RPG while he was working on the engine just contacted me and said he's almost done with the engine and is ready to make a small RPG. So I may be doing that.

However that is not to say I will not be able to work on a funny parody type game such as this at the same time. Sooooo yeah. Anyone who wants to work on this, do you got skype? My name is RockSauron if you want to add me.

I'm still downloading Skype, so I may need to wait on that first. Also, I wasn't able to do much other than come up with a small story for this game and a few more roles because I had exams this past week, and I had to shoot some footage for my media class. I just finished getting a gash in my hand, so I'm not much in the mood to jump into the RPG just yet. For now, I'd like to see what everybody else thinks about this and if they'll play it if it ever does come to life.

Tried (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=59454-LBPC-Trading-Cards&highlight=LBPC+Trading+Card). Didn't really get anywhere unfortunately.

Besides, those things get old and/or corrupted really fast. And imo, they just aren't as fun as an RPG.

The player should be customizable, and maybe minor NPCs (like imaginary characters like Trolls and Spammers) would be monsters to fight. I think some of the good characters (perhaps some of the Mods at various points, more distinguished individuals) could function as allies/companions if we're going for more of a FF/Crono-esque RPG.

I made-up a quick sprite of a FF-styled RockSauron, along with some peanuts and a chain-like weapon.

And since this IS LBPC, I don't think the music should benothing too serious (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxJrjV4PNXA)... :3
