			| This is coming out in NA and EU regions next month. It looks very pretty. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xy9o7GFoWf0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R78k3491qRQ | 2012-04-24 11:25:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |
| Hmmm I am surprised its a turnbased RPG. I might have to check this out since Nino Kuni got delayed till next year. I havent really liked an Atelier game since Eternal Mana--Which is still one of my favorite JRPGs of all time. The new games have this "simulation" type gameplay, and I am not sure if this one has much of an adventure like the first games. | 2012-04-24 14:36:00 Author: Rpg Maker Posts: 877 |
| You're right, it does look very pretty. However, the gameplay seems too weak to me. For the majority of the video the player is just giving power-ups and boosts. Not only that, but she was able to attack like 10-20 times in one turn, which doesn't add much to the challenge. Also, how many times did they have to crit that girl? She had more than 200,000 HP! I know these characters are maxed out in levels and all, but Jesus Christ is that terrible. Overall, I would have considered this game had it not been for the art style. It looks too much like an anime for my taste (not last gen anime, but I mean this current gen's). It's like they're banking on the otaku demographic instead of the actual RPG one. I can understand a few characters looking feminist, but for the male characters to look like they haven't come out of the closet yet is just a bit much. I don't know, maybe this is your type of game and not mine. Care to sure your thought to rant change my mind? | 2012-04-24 16:06:00 Author: CyberSora Posts: 5551 |
