I'm thinking of using it in a level of mine, but I can not get rid of that hissing smoke sound. That sound ruins the mood of the level I am trying to set up. Putting it in a microchip does not help, just wanted to know if there is a way to use the smoke machine without it makeing any sound and only have the smoke. Thanks

I don't know what type of smoke machine you are using, but my smoke machines never make sounds.. That's odd.. Could you add a light backround music to muffle the sound?

Thanks for the responses Unfortunately nothing seems to quiet the steam sound. They should have gave the option to turn off the sound effects from that device. It is never silent regardless of what setting I use, when you tweak the speed/size it only increases in volume but even when all settings are at zero it still makes a faint sound. The thing only gets worse when you have a couple of smoke machines in close prox with each other, again even at zero settings Again thanks for replys
