Final weekend of the Treetop Escape level contest (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=t=6248), and a lot of action on the leaderboard! Remember, the final day of the competition is Jan 4th! I'll be checking the scoreboard at around noon on Jan 5th, so it's not a strict deadline - the competition is officially over once I post the final scoreboard on the forums. RAINFIRE, the undisputed LBPC Arcade (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/arcade.php?) champion (Highscore in 5 games) joined the fray with an incredible score of over 45 000 (45 786) in the level, taking over the number one spot that was held for so long by The_Killian. Also, ifire1 took over the number two spot from The_Killian with a score of 44 073! Killian, the number one from yesterday is down to third place now! But it seems like they're not the only ones still vying for the top podium places, as deboerdave has improved his previous score of 38 292 with a new high score of 41 498. This would've given deboerdave the number two spot yesterday, but with all the competition going on, it just strengthened his grip as the fourth top scorer of the competition. Oh the excitement! Also, we've got another new name on the leaderboard, as user DoctorRamatool took over the number 8 spot. So, two days left and we've got a new number one and a lot of action on the leaderboard! Ok, I sent you a friend request, Thee-Flash. I didn't seem to have received any from you (or it has mysteriously disappeared). Hopefully you're able to play the level now. EDIT: More action on the scoreboards! Shiwayari took the fifth place with a score of 36 429! Likewise, RedSoakedSponge improved, standing now at 34 759 and sixth place. A new name, Dynashock took over spot number nine from gevurah22 (aka donkey show) with a score of 27 020. This caused sjbluedog24 to fall from the top ten to eleventh position! Oh hahahaha, Nevermind then, my bad, its just that i have never seen some of those names before, oh well, i hope i can hold my spot, I am really gunning for gold (literally) and then on to Elite for me, if i do not get this, It will take me a long time to get up to Elite. hey, i just never gave up and did not leave until i had a nice spot in the score books, so i was playing that level strait for about 4 hours, Yeah it took a long time but i was determined, and still am, I am watching those scoreboards like a hawk. The best I could muster was 19th. I don't think I can bring myself to play it again. Honestly one of the most frustrating experiences I've had on my PS3. Falling through the tiny gaps in the small bridges, making up the chasm with the moving fire block only to be greeted with another fire block in the face and trying to get an epic chain whilst running down the small bridge only to have the jumping go dodgy and missing out on over 9,000 points. I made myself restart sooooo many times.

Here's the last scoreboard update before the end of the competition! When the competition ends, I need to verify the number 10 spot, as it's probable that gevurah22's score isn't really the tenth one (I can't see the tenth score from the online scoreboard). I'm not going to be able to check the final scores until tomorrow evening GMT, so you have until then to best RAINFIRE.

Now it did! (sorry, I had an emergency, couldn't finish the competition earlier) Congratulations To The First LBPC Level Competition Winner: DoctorRamatool And oh my, what scores! Congratulations to DoctorRamatool for showing how it's done - he got an insane score of 49 006! That's over 2000 better than the next score, with deboerdave claiming the second place from RAINFIRE with 46 833! RAINFIRE, who seemed pretty dominant still yesterday, takes home the bronze with 45 786. Congratulations to all who made it to the top ten! I'm sure we'll eventually have more player competitions - if you have anything to comment on this competiton, feel free to do so - all feedback is appreciated!
