Wake up the Forest! (survival)

Hello sackfolks! I had a few days to waste so i made this level for you guys to play. It's a side-scrolling survival platformer that's randomly generated every time you play. You have to try to stay alive for as long as possible, it slowly gets more difficult/

If you find any bugs, or if you have comments on how to make the level better, please tell.

Here's some pictures that show some parts of the level:

It's pretty hard to make pictures in a level that keeps moving, you should really go see it for yourself
Have fun!

I played it! I thought it was very very cool! You could make the cam run faster and faster, so it will be harder! >
Thanks to your review in my lvl. I aprecied it.
And sorry for my english, I'm Brazilian.

Looks to be interesting, I'll add this to my queue. The pics came out good by the way.

EDIT:
Ok, so I played this now and there really isn't much to say. It's fun, has nice visuals giving a clean overall look. It does get progressively harder, is somewhat repetitive, but is still different each time as advertised. The repetitiveness is simply from the same landscape periodically repeating often enough to be noticeable. That's just how the randomizer played it out those two times I played though. I do like that there is a good amount of enviorments overall though, keeping it from happening constantly.

I played the level and thought it was a fun simple survival challenge which is great!

While it's not the most original idea (since the concept has been used in a LBP2 Official Survival Level) it's still original theme and concept. You go from platform to platform and each new section you touch causes plants to grow which is a pretty effect.

Only problem I had was that if you landed on the roof of the one brown house section, nothing grows. You should make it so if you get up that high, you get even more points since it's a harder jump to make. Or maybe less since it's harder to get down inside when it's moving fast enough. I also felt that the different environments didn't come in soon enough. I felt like I was going through only 4 different repeated sections over and over until finally I was exposed to one that involved me using the grappling hook to clear a 2 sponge wide distance.

Great level! Yayed it! And i think i hearted it but not sure. I forget these days

Thanks for the reviews so far guys

The randomizer now chooses from eight different big environments, and eight small environments in between them. I've test played this level a lot and there's always a chance that the same big environment comes twice or even three times in a row .. The big difference between some of them makes it very noticable. When i have some time to waste and some good inspiration i might make a few more.

Also, the house part seems a bit lacking indeed.. I'll figure something out to make it stand out more, and maybe put something nice on the roof

What a neat idea for a survival challenge, suppose there could be other out there, but this is the first one ive played, and great stuff it is to pal. Looks nice, flows great and music fits sweet too. A few days to waste you say! Wow, i say, great challenge. If you fancy giving me some feedback on my platformer, Alpine Abandon, that would be great. Top stuff matey.

Nice job. I liked how it played. It was fun.
The whole point of f4f is to give suggestions and I had to think hard to come up with these two.
1 the background looked a lot like treehouses instead of forest, not that it looked bad.
2 the forest waking up effects were cool and I think you could play arround with that and make it more dramatic, like the entire tree changing from dreery to blooming. I would suggest being careful with this as a few times I was distracted when the vine obscured my view of my sac person.
That's all I've got. The level worked flawlessly and is very fun.

I made a few other survival challenges, the cogwheel one is also very fun (in my opinion). And yeah, i tend to make my levels as fast as possible because i don't have much time. Also, when i make them too big my inspiration runs dry somewhere so i have a few uncompleted levels on my moon right now which i will probably never finish Anyway, check your thread, i left some feedback!

The background is probably the thing that is most repetitive, i made less background parts than foreground parts. Because they're on the background, it's less obvious But as with the foreground parts, when i get some really good ideas i might add a few parts!

If anyone else wants their level played, leave some feedback on my level and i'll help you out

Thanks for your feedback.

I'm not usually a fan of survival, but this was very platformy so I enjoyed it. Played several times so I must have enjoyed it. I really liked how it was different every time.

Visually it's just ok but the gameplay is pretty fun so that makes up for it.

Music is a perfect fit.

Hey there everyone!
Today i updated the level to tackle some of the complaints people had.
- First of all, i added lots of new areas to the level. You won't get the feeling that the level repeats itself over and over again (well at least, you won't get that feeling very fast now xD).
- Some old areas look a bit nicer now.
- Also, the flowers are now made of 3D decorations instead of flat shapes.
- The lighting changes as you play.

Please, give it a try and tell me what you think Also, don't try to beat my highscore. You'll most likely end up sad
