HELP: Score giver broken

Hello, while updating my Tron level, there is now an issue that I cannot seem to fix. Let me first explain what is supposed to happen before I talk about the issue. What I did was attach 4 score givers to every single vehicle of mine, as well as 4 tag sensors hooked up to them. What it would do is give or take points when you came in contact with the light beam and its tag. But when I was changing the amount of points, It all broke. Now when you come in contact with the beam, it shows -10/10 points, but in black instead of the player colour, and doesn't actually affect the players score at all. This issue even happened with all the previous versions of my light cycles I made, not just the one I tweaked. I even tried to rebuild them from scratch, but it didn't work either. This issue only affected my light cycles, and nothing else. Iv'e tried everything but It hasn't helped. I don't know what to do! It seems to be an issue with the tag sensor, but I don't know what went wrong. It's a shame really, because now when you earn your points, it doesn't get added to your score. If anyone knows what is wrong and how to fix it, please let me know. I put so much effort into this level, and it is a shame that it broke, I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to fix it. Thank you.2012-04-22 04:32:00

You need to make sure that the signal triggering the Score Giver contains some form of Player ID. You can easily test this if you connect the signal to a piece of Hologram/Sticker Panel/Neon etc. and set the On Colour to Player Colour (tiny black sackboy icon).
Black scores usually signify that the signal triggering the Score Giver doesn't contain any Player ID.

Have you recently introduced any new logic gates in your setup? E.g. AND Gates or OR Gates?
If so, make sure the signal containing the Player ID goes into the topmost Port of the Logic gate.
If you are unsure about which Port is the top one, bring out a fresh gate from your Tools Bag, and replace the old one.

if you have controlinators on the bikes, either receivers or ones the player use directly, you can wire the "active" output of the controlinator to an AND gate with whatever is triggering your score giver then wire the AND gate to the score giver. this will ensure player data is being sent to the score giver so player will get/lose score

EDIT: 5 hours with no reply and then 2 answers within a minute........ hows it going Asger?

Also, I noticed that if I drive the vehicle into a beam that I pulled out of my goodies bag, it gives me the points. If i run into the beam that I used the emitter to spawn, it doesn't give any points.

I tried your methods and they worked! my level is now fixed. thank you for all your help

EDIT: Doing this caused a different score related issue where you gain points for getting killed by the other player. So I had to make it so you start off with 2000 points and every time you die you lose 10. That solved the issue sort of.
