BTW I'm asking here because Google Translate and multiple Google Searches aren't proving to be useful.

Haha, actually when someone asked my teacher about the dog's name, he said it was 'Rover'. Thank you soooooo much for the quick response.

No problem. Something written purely kana is a pain to read, it'll be easier once you get to some kanji. For example the sixth sentence would go from being 「おとうさんはイギリスじんです」 to 「お父さんはイギリス人です」. Haha, actually when someone asked my teacher about the dog's name, he said it was 'Rover'. Ahh, I should have seen that.
