Sackboy cart racing

Hey I created a level called Sackboy cart racing, and it barely has any plays. After playing smoe other peoples levels I discovered that it was a pretty bad level, and is not very polished. I would love some feedback on this level, as it will help me make another, better, one. Please note that the level is MUCH better with more people and playing with 1 is pretty dull. Also there is no controls list in game, so please read the description for the controls. Thanks!

Maybe you should make the things you ride look like carts. Also, the outside of my 'cart' broke when i tried your level the first time, which made me get stuck in corners everywhere.2012-04-18 10:15:00

I left a quick comment/review after I played but I thought I'd expand a little here.
I think it is a good start, but as you said yourself, it can use some polish.
The controller movement works, but is very sensitive at the moment. That's not bad, it just took getting used to.
Visually, it seems very plain. In my opinion, the enviorment is more important than how the carts look, and the enviorment is relatively empty. As I commmented before, I like the glass bottom track, but more detail in the surrounding area could definitely add to the appeal.
Gamplaywise, this was a pretty standard track. I liked the idea for changing layers and was hoping to see more of that, as well as a more dynamic track in general. Maybe some parts could move periodically, or have destructible blockages, although that would be tricky to pull off for multiplayer.
As for the carts, depending on how the rest of the track ends up, they could stay as simple as they are, it just depends on the visual style. I personally think a flat bottomed vehicle looks good on the clear racing surface. The only thing is the space on the track. I played single player so I don't have any feedback but instead will pose a question. How crowded do the lanes get with four players and how does it affect gameplay?
Finally, I have a minor suggestion about the beginning of the level. If you go the opposite direction of the carts, the path (outer layer of the track) just continues. It might make the level seem a little cleaner if you block that off in some way.
Well, that's my take on the level. There are some good ideas at work that could be expanded on, adding to the appeal of playing it. I would definitely try it again if you update it, or play another version if you make it.
