Watermill Works with MOVE

I haven't seen many MOVE levels so thought I would have a go. It's quite pretty, not long and has only a few different types of MOVE elements so it's not too taxing. It makes a change from some of the more frenetic platforming levels at the moment (many of which I think are good, but variety is good too!). It also gives people wanting a MOVE related trophy or pin something half decent to try instead of those "1 second" token gestures. I would love to hear what people think - many thanks!

This was exactly the sort of level I've been looking for more of Pleasant platformer with lots of move functionality. Especially liked the cogs!

A bug and a suggestion, if I may.

I fell to the floor at the end of the thin wooden bridge, may want to extend the gas.

The mobs take too long to kill (5 secs?). I'm working on a move level ATM and also have grabable mobs, killable by smacking around (impact sensor -- counter). Feels more satisfying than keeping it held for that period of time (score giver doesn't hurt either XD).

Really enjoyed it, feel free to let me know if your doing more

Thanks, man, that is what I love about this site - lots of generous people who take the time to play levels AND give constructive feedback.

I've made the sackbots melt after being grabbed three times. Thanks for spotting the the bridge part, all fixed now.

I'm glad you liked the MOVE functionality, I had more ideas but the thermo was to the brim!

A really well thought level! I thought it was great, at the start I did think that I wasn't supposed to kill the crocodiles and was actually lifting them up and running under them. Oh, and the part where you had to pick up the cogs to make a platform wasn't exactly clear as I was looking for somewhere to put them into machinery at first.2012-04-21 23:51:00

Hello. I just want to get some of the issues I had out of the way because they happen to be exactly the same as what Mr. Fusion said. My instict was to kill all crocs because, well, they're trying to kill me. And I had the same problem with those cogs and had to start over when I dropped a couple trying to make it do something.
Otherwise this was definitely a great Move level. It had nice visuals, good gameplay, and those wonderful little crocs that we all love.
Speaking of the crocodiles, as far as them dying, just a heads up, you don't lose points if you kill them by throwing them into the water/gas. I don't know if that's an issue, I just obseved it. Anyway, this was definitely worth playing.

This is in the wrong category I believe. This is for LBP1 levels not LBP2 levels. I almost missed out on something that looks really cool!

Edit: Whoa wait nevermind. I think they reorganized LBPcentral since I was last here. There's only one level showcase thread now... or maybe I'm just mixing them all up.

ANYWAY... i shall play this!

Thanks for your time and your comments!

I've thought of a way to make the crocodile death by water subtract points so will sort that out tonight (23rd April, around 7:30pm NZST) and give some clearer instructions about being nice to animals. I'll also do something with the little cogs part to make it less confusing and to prevent them from being lost.

After that it might just be alright to go!

EDIT: This level featured in LBPCentral Spotlight no. 84! It had only had 15 plays before that.
