Environment destruction.

I want to make something, such as a wall of bricks to fall apart when hit by something like a car I have achieved getting the pieces to stay in mid air but my problem is when they are hit again they stop in place whenever they are hit again. Could you explain that a bit more clearly? I'm quite good at making stuff explode, fall apart, etc. So I think I could be of some help if I could actually understand what you're trying to say. Like, what do you mean by, 'pieces to stay in mid air'; do you mean you actually want the pieces to hang in mid air and never fall or what? And 'they stop in place when they are hit again'? Um...
