Oooh Shiny!
Archive: 7 posts
Hey everybody! It's time for my daily help thread ![]() Anyway, I've got 17 light flickers hooked onto some hologram letters at the beginning of my movie, and I want all the flicker(er)s to stop at the same time, and have the letters to shut off, then shine on their own when the flicker(er)s shut off. Any way to do this? As always, any help is appreciated. ![]() | 2012-04-09 23:41:00 Author: Captain_Dinosaur ![]() Posts: 214 |
um... try activating everything with individual tag sensors (name them all differently)... then put the tags on a sequencer... that will allow you greater control over the light patterns | 2012-04-10 01:18:00 Author: ForgottenEnigma ![]() Posts: 1414 |
Is that really the best way to do it? Do tags extend like other objects once they're on a sequencer? | 2012-04-10 01:30:00 Author: Captain_Dinosaur ![]() Posts: 214 |
yes... tags can extend. | 2012-04-10 01:45:00 Author: ForgottenEnigma ![]() Posts: 1414 |
Thanks for the help David. | 2012-04-10 02:31:00 Author: Captain_Dinosaur ![]() Posts: 214 |
If you don't want to use tags, you can use batteries and OR gates... But sometimes tags are better. ^^ I like your signature. | 2012-04-10 03:09:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
What I did was I kept the flickers there, but shortened the battery on the sequencer. Then I connected some new (Well, a copy of the letters) holo letters to a fader that had a battery at the end of the flicker sequence. It works like a charm.
