I'm working on a tool which will allow me to switch between two versions of a song with magnets and stuff. However, I noticed that the transition from one version to another version (there are only two) takes a bit long. Is it possible to speed up this transition somehow? And if so, how? Right now, I use a magnet sensor thing to check if a certain magnet is activated, and if it is, it switches to version B of a song - if it's not, it switches to version A again. Thanks in advance. EDIT: I found out why the transition took that long. Because I connected a NOT gate to itself and the songs (using AND gates) to make sure the songs keep playing, it ended up repeating the "start transition now" signal all the time which ended up in a really slow transition. Eh heh heh. I guess I'll leave this here for other people who end up doing this silly mistake.
