Router Help

Archive: 5 posts

Good afternoon sackfolks.

I'm having technical problems with my internet.
When I'm testing my connection.
The last 2 phrases are:
UPnP: Unavailable
NAT-Type: Type 3

I turned my UPnP on on my router.
And I got:
UPnP: Available
NAT-Type: Type 2

However, a few minutes later,
it was unavailable and Type 3 again.
I have tried almost everything but nothing seems to work.

If anyone can help me, I'm glad to hear it.

I have a Thomson TG784

Good Day..

I have tried resetting my router.
But that only caused more trouble.

My guess is that there is something wrong
with the wires, but I'm not sure.

It could also be something with the connection
to my router.

I guess I'm not sure I understand the question. What are you connecting to your router? Is it your PS3 that you are having issues with? ..and I assume you are trying to go wireless?

When you say something wrong with the wires.. that really makes no sense. I assume you have the cable or dsl modem connected to the proper port in the router?

Does any other device hook to the internet properly? ..or nothing connects?

I almost broke my router completely..
But now that I have reinstalled my modem.
My UPnP is finally working normal.

And to jwwphotos:
I wasn't attempting to go wireless,
but with problems with the wires, I mean.
that things aren't perfectly connected.
For Example: We couldn't connect
because we had 2 splitters on at the same time.
One needed to be removed.

But now that it is finally solved.
I don't need to waste anybody's valueable time, anymore XD

Have a nice day all!
