paintanator cooldown?

Archive: 9 posts

its weird most the time on my survival level. i can just spam and go crazy and shoot as much as i want after i kill them. but for some reason some times ive been encountering this problem were after i kill something my gun goes on "cooldown" and it wont let me shoot again for a couple seconds

i think i figured it out...its when your thermometer is almost maxed for some reason it adds a cool down after killing something then.

the paintgun can't fire when something is too close to the muzzle, it looks this state sticks sometimes, just lift off R1 and you can continue pounding away normally. This is my best guess anyway since I've noticed sometimes it wouldn't fire.2009-01-02 17:50:00

Well, the paintanator generates "stickers" where the paint lands. If your theremometer is completely completely full, that might be why it's not firing. Stickers do take up space, albiet by a small amount.2009-01-02 18:16:00

ahhh good call i forgot about that... it wasnt completely overheated but it was **** close.. i bet that was why. i had to wait for the paint to disappear on the zombies before i could shoot again. i have it fixed now but it was kind of annoying

Hmmm.. I always figured the game was designed to leave a little extra space for more stickers and decorations in memory for when people go crazy in play mode, even if it means replacing other stickers. Good discovery!2009-01-02 18:25:00
