please be aware the level is at Version 0.5, I published it so I could get feedback on how to improve it.

Okay, I just gave your level a try. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get past the domino planks, even after multiple tries, so my feedback will only be from the tiny bit I saw at the beginning of the level. To be honest, I felt your level was rather bland and boring. There are no decorations or stickers and the textures don't really stand out. Combine that with the fact that most of your platforming is done on objects from the game and you've got a pretty forgettable experience.

I suggest you add a bit of style to it. Change up the textures or add some decorations/stickers. And while there is nothing wrong with using the objects in the game, be a bit more creative with them or create your own! It will make your level stand out from the rest! However, like I said, I was unable to get past the domino planks at the very beginning so maybe this is not the case throughout the rest of your level, but these are my initial impressions.

EDIT: I gave it one more try after writing this post and was able to pass over the planks and complete the level. After completion, I stand by my original criticisms.

This reminds me a lot of my first level Straight up platforming, and completely linear.

I can tell your getting a lot of the basic mechanics of the game figured out demon scutter. Your doing a good job, but mrsupercomputer is right when he says you need to spice it up a little bit. Here are my recommendations. (I didn't beat the level. I got to the part with the moving platforms with fire on random platforms and then upon 3 retries only made it to the domino planks)

- Add some character to the level. Stickers, decorations, different materials, ect. Also, don't be afraid to create your own obstacles, as most people are overly-bored with the stuff MM has pumped out in their story mode.

-Double checkpoints. Your level is quite hard in some areas, mainly because of the awkwardness of some of the platforming. Put up double checkpoints so people actually beat the level.

- I really liked how you had a lot of the level on an upward slope, but this makes for some awkward platforming as well. Good idea, just poorly executed in some parts.


But yeah, I can tell your still working with the tools and getting used to them, which isn't a bad thing. You should see my first level I recommend you keep creating and see what you come up with

I too was unable to finish, but I don't think I got to the domino platforms. Here's what I think you should do.

- Tone down the color correction if you can. Too much orange.

- Those planks that you're supposed to run straight across that only work about 25% of the time - do away with them. No one like em.

- When you pull the lever after getting across the aforementioned planks, the thing that falls can push you right down into the fire. Quite annoying.

- I didn't get past the next obstacle, but I would have if you used more double checkpoints.

- Use more original content. Lots of the stuff you used was taken straight from the obstacle section of your popit and modified a bit.

Don't feel like I'm ripping on it though, it's your first level so by no means should it be awe-inspiring.

ok, I have updated the level many times now, I have:

-put in Dialog
-replaced the see-saw obstacle with a fire swing obstacle
-replaced the wheel and pendulum obstacle with a pendulum swing obstacle
-replaced the rotating circle with a spike maze
-replaced the dominoes with an emmiter bridge

and my sister made the mountain more rugged.

Here are my thoughts on your level.
- It needs work on the look. Its bright, and there is'nt much detail
-I hate swinging on cloth attached to rope.
-For some reason, at the second obstacle, the first two swinging baton things dissapeared after I died. They never came back I had to restart.
- The first baton has dissapeared this time. Had to restart again
- The spike maze is fustrating
- You use a lot of MM's items
- The three plane rising and falling platforms are hard to judge, you sometimes leave the plane your on when you jump, and land on another, killing yourself. The you leave the checkpoint and get killed because you happended to hit the fire.

I gave up here. After the faults at the start, causing two resets, and then dying on my last life coming out of the checkpoint I went back to the pod.

The level needs a lot of work I'm afraid

** and "frustrating" tag left in game.
