Hi Wehout,
You must be new or not savy on using the forums yet as I see you keep making these threads and not doing them properly. Never fear LittleBigDes is here. Make sure you use all the options when making a post such as the insert image and lbp.me icon to get your details up properly. Then this site will pull the dteail s of your level from lbp.me website for all to see on here. Otherwise people will not take notice of your level (I'll only do this once for you):

Hi wehout! I played at your level :
The level isn't excellent, it needs more work... But it's not too bad for a first level I think, and you'll be better!

The level needs a lot of work. But you were definitely on the right track once the 'ruins' section and some platforming kicked in, and it did feel like I was in a ruins. A bit more decoration and less obvious shapes and you'll definitely be on the way there 2012-04-10 03:00:00

I’ve seen a few of your level posts around the forums and decided to check this one out. The main thing that stuck out to me was that it’s very rough around the edges and has a distinct lack of detail and decorations, as others have pointed out. So there’s definitely room for improvement. Yet you have the basics of platforming already in place and a few nice touches with buttons you have to press.

So below are a few tips I used in the help forums, that may help you in your levels:

Pick a theme and a colour palette and stick with it.

Use subtle lighting (invisible LED lights) to create atmosphere and details.

Don't be afraid to use all the 3 layers, from front middle and back utilising thin layers in between to add details. Layer them up on top of each other. You can still create a lot of detail without using any extra 3D layers or theck and thack as these can be tricky especially if you're new to it. Mix it up a bit, 1 layer, then another layer 2 layers deep and a thin layer in between.

Use stickers that are gradients, stick textures to them to add details and shading such as the rust sticker or finger print

Create things with decorations and use them to decorate. Think of new ways to use them. Don't use too many so that it becomes overloaded. Can even create your own custom sticker from what you've created by taking a photo of it.

Pick a hand full of materials to use throughout your theme and maybe a few in between if needed and stick to it. Pick materials that go together with your theme.

Use sound effects for player interactions and adding ambience/atmosphere

The corner editor is your best friend for refining edges and adding details.

This is a decent video to watch for tips on adding detail:

I also took a few photos of your level so others can see:

(You could emit a water projectile for the fountain with a material tweaker the water projectile with the sound turned off so it looks more realsitic)

(I liked this bit, the ruins section is designed a lot better)

Plus there are also loads of other tutorials on youtube and here on the forums: LBP2 tutorials (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=46908-LittleBigPlanet-2-Tutorials-and-Games). I hope that helps and you don’t take my feedback the wrong way. Time and patience plays a big part too. As you’ve already got the basis for a decent level.
