Hello, for those of you who saw my other posts, i have been working on the next step in the zombie survival craze. as you can tell from the title it is going to be top view and i know that this has been done before, but i feel that i did a better job on the level as well as added a few little twists. first of all there are two modes, arcade and regular. the difference is arcade mode doesn't have a map, it is just a square of zombie hatred where as the regular mode is a detailed map that i kind of modeled after a military, last resort compound. there are four types of zombies: regular (walkers), martyrs, tanks, and ents. the martyrs are fast, weak, and explode on impact. the tanks are strong and throw you back whenever they hit you. the ents are tricky, they stay at a distance and entangle you in roots, stopping you in your tracks to be eaten. the players can aim, shoot, throw grenades, jump, switch firing modes, punch, and reload. on the title screen there is a list of controls. and the most important part of all of little big planet...IT IS MULTIPLAYER! up to four players can survive at once. this is still a work in progress and i am thinking about adding a point system with locked doors, sprinting, AI teammates, and maybe even more types of zombies (ex. i am trying to make a bride zombie that emits four others when it is shot or gets close enough to a player, it seems simple but... there are issues) If anyone has any ides for my levels PLEASE TELL ME! also if you want to make a level of your own, i wouldn't mind giving you my zombies and players as long as i get partial credit. I played this 1P, but was like 'where's my gun?' I just ran around punching and then got killed by a green monster. I found the grenades also but didn't really see any use for them as the zombies pretty much just locked on to me. Mose of these types of games (and there is a lot) normally have the explosions attract zombies. The only harsh criticism I can give is that Top Down Zombie Survival in LBP2 are very prevalent, you really need to do something that sets yourself apart from all the others, like a detailed map, interesting pickups etc. I'm not sure if you have but I would try to play as many of these as you can to see how similar that they are and then think about something that will make yours unique.
