Cosmic wood

Hi community I present my new (and first) platformer level. It's inspired of the awesome level of tropical_guner. I hope you'll enjoy and have fun! Thank you ^^

I was pleasantly surprised when i played this level. Your sticker panel stickers really bring it to life, it's bright colourful and cosmic. There were only a few minor things I came across:

Here there was nothing to tell me that the water was lethal so I just walked straight onto it and died

Here it's quite easy to slide or slip into the fire on your right due to the games physics. So maybe a gradual decrease in platform width from platform to platform as they go up. So there a nice difficulty curve too. I still made it though, so I guess it's minor.

When I got to this bit there was nothing to indicate that these move out of your way. It's a bit counter intuitive as when you see danger or a hazard you immediately move away or try to find a way to get around it. So I went back and looked around for a while to see if I could get over it. Bit confusing until I accidentally got too close and it moved back.

Overall this was a joy to play, has a nice balance. You could try my level if you want but I only have 1 level (it's my first level) and I'm still working on part 2. It's already got a decent amount of plays and your level could do with a lot more plays. So I'll be adding this to list of levels that I Tweet about to people. Hopefully more people will play your level.		2012-04-10 11:12:00

Thanks Alain. Also, when leaving any feedback on other levels it is best to to do it and reply to the creators showcase post, especially if you are doing F4F (although I'm not really doing F4F on my level anymore until part 2, I'm happy doing my part on new levels like yours). A lot of the time other creators will play your level and leave feedback in return. They don't have to but it helps. This will also make your level post stay on top of the forums as long as you are not double posting or bumping your post without adding anything to it.

So if you make any changes to your level make sure you let us know by posting in this thread you've made.		2012-04-12 00:15:00
