stickers and light

Some stickers don't look as you expect, sometimes. It depends highly on the material they are on, and the light.

Which are the best materials to put a sticker on? i'm putting the triangle button sticker on my level, to tell the player to push triangle for tutorial, but when i go to play mode, it isn't quite visible.

To get the "truest" representation of the Sticker, use Sticker Panel from the Move Pack set to somewhere around 50 Brightness.
But bear in mind that Sticker Panel isn't affected by shadows - It can therefore look slightly artificial in dimly- or partially lit areas... To combat this, you can tweak both the Brightness but also the Opacity until you get a result you are happy with.

If you don't have the Move Pack, I know people used Blue Wood in LBP 1 to get a pretty accurate representation of the Sticker. I think LBP2's lighting engine may have foiled this trick though, making the Blue Wood a bit too glossy now...

Otherwise, have you tried regular Basic Cardboard? It is also pretty good at showing off a Sticker without any busy normal mapping or specular textures.
