Title Fight

i'm assuming that everyone here knows about the Smash Brothers game coming from Sony? it's got Jack and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Kratos, Drake and many more. i got to thinking about this... we know very little of the game other than it's going to be a brawler. we don't know who the developer is either. well MM made a game called Rag-Doll-Kungfu, which was essentially a side scrolling brawler. could the game that MM are working on at the moment be Title Fight? it would seem the perfect fit for me2012-04-02 12:17:00

it's rumoured to be at E3 this year. it would be another announcement like the Naughty Dog making 'the last of us' if it turns out to be MM. it's a long shot but ... you never know		2012-04-02 14:28:00

another thing that raises my suspicion is the characters they've selected to be in it. I would say that the first character you would want in that game would be Sackboy. I mean, come on, it is Sony's mascot whether they want to acknowledge it or not. so why haven't I seen a mention of sackboy being in it? could it be that by mentioning it, they feel they might give a clue who the devs are? a long shot but part of the reason this could be true IMO2012-04-04 12:23:00

I don't imagine them being added in, but I'd love to play as a scarf person from Journey. It might sound weird, considering therea no attacking involved in the game, but maybe you could do things involving symbols and scarf pieces, as attacks, like calling a cluster of scarf pieces to surround the enemy, no blood or stuff like that, maybe reducing them to sand? That was actually something else. Sony basically teased us at first with the beginning of the video, ending right as the guy opened the door, and some people could barely make out Kratos. A lot of people thought it was going to be a Sony version of SSB, but it turned out to just be a new Sony promo for the PS3 when it dropped in price. This is actually closer to what people thought at first though, not to be mistaken with that promo.		2012-04-04 20:36:00

That also had Sackboy playing chess with Sweet Tooth and was just a playstation trailer. Not related to this.

Would Kratos be ripping heads off while Sackboy just slapped other fighters into the ground? That's something I've been thinking about too. Nintendo can pull it off because every character in brawl was cartoony. So they could have them spinning around and doing flips.
In Title fight however, people like Nathan Drake, what would they do? Just shoot? Could he do some standard punches and kicks? Finding balance in this game would be incredibly hard. All the Sony characters are so different it just seems like a monumental task. Idk who any confirmed characters are, but what about Cole? Would he be ranged and melee? Would sackboy be able to whip his pop-it around and be able to take others powers (Like Kirby, this would be awesome)?
Unless they're significantly changing from Brawls formula of course. Then this was a pointless rant.		2012-04-05 04:27:00

I'm thinking it would be like "Space Jam" or "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" in terms of realism. Characters like Nathan Drake would behave realistically until they are hit by a sackboy or whatever. Then, his head can spin or he can splat to the ground because Drake is now following the rules of Little Big Planet. Yall dig?2012-04-05 05:26:00
