I'm sure everyone remembers the old golden years of LBP, when it was all about playing cool levels and getting your name out there. Not too long after we experienced the Clanning Era, which lasted until a year before LBP2's release. Sure there were clans out there but not as many clans as once before. There was a time when every other creator was in a clan, and it gave them something to do, and something to work for. I'm sure everyone agrees that clans had their time period of fame, but all that has turned into infamy, and many of LBP's greatest clans have fallen. Many have proposed a recovery, but not enough effort has been dedicated to the process. That is the purpose of this post. To simply spread the Idea of a New Beginning to a once tradition of LBP, Not everyone likes clans as they once had, but there are many sack folk who have not had a chance to experience such things, and many of us miss the Golden days of teamwork and leadership, a feeling of usefulness. Now , even If you do not wish to join a clan, you can help in the effort of the reconstruction of clans around the world, by simply dedicating your time and effort to propose ideas or help out in the actual building of any said clan. This is in no way a clan, just simply a proposition to bring back the clan days of LBP.

I agree! In fact, I'll just go and start a clan right now! I call it...THE SHADOW TACOS! While the feeling of being in a group and working with others is good, especially if you are working with a more established or experienced sack, I personally believe that clans are a bit frivolous. Yes, there are many good clans, which are devoted to creating, but there are also mediocre and bad clans. There shouldn't be too many clans. See, there are many different clans, with all their different names and styles and etc., but they usually share common goals-improve LBP or LBP2 somehow, create good levels, troll (if the clan is really terrible), or simply just hang out (maybe a combination of the goals). Those are the main four goals, and most clans fit into these. Yet, there are so many clans. I think there should be some clans, and smaller groups could simply just get together to create or such. All these small clans just don't do much. I mean, you join and you get a nice t-shirt or costume and you meet some people and that's usually it. Many small clans simply won't do anything. If you just want to get together with other sackfolk, you don't have to join a clan. Just use the dive in feature, or go onto threads like "Find Other Happy Gadders".

I dont really see the point in this. If people want to work in groups and join clans, they will. If they dont, they arent going to. Its as simple as that. A single post isnt going to sway very many people, you need something bigger, along with motivation.

Well, refurbishing the past of LBP could be a both good and bad idea. Yes, I do miss the days waaaay back in the old days of LBP, even if I wasn't playing to experience them. However, I don't entirely miss clans. I never got or wanted to be a part of one, and when I was offered to be in one, I was insulted and kicked for saying "poop". You remember THAT story, but that's not important. There are also players that feel excluded or unimportant. In addition, there are clans that have bad intentions like you mentioned. LBP is a great multiplayer game, but clans might not just fit in, what with only four players being able to play at a time. I don't know. That's just my opinion.

Ehh... I made a clan called MediocreMolecule but I never really got it started I don't really like having tons of different people working on the same level when only 4 people (3 others) can be creating with you at once!

I despise LBP clans because I remember being in one and the leader was the only one recognized. If you plan on being a know creator and your in a clan your going to get nowhere and there's literally no point to it. Most of the time there are never group projects. The only use I found for clans on LBP was this cool way of creating, you would make a vehicle and try to make it a weapon to destroy anything and someone else would try to do the same thing and you would fight until one of them were destroyed it was fun and brought some nice logic to LBP such as a parasite which would stick to your opponents vehicle and destroy itself and anything it was glued to. Besides the fighting thing clans seem pointless.
